The congregation is welcoming and friendly too. Pastor Garrison is a teacher of the Bible and does it in such a fashion that he engages his congregation. I thought I knew the Bible... but every week I learn something new! They are interesting sermons and I am enjoying learning more each Sunday. The Worship Pastor Tony definitely knows how to get the congregation involved in singing Jesus' praises... you want to join in with the celebration in song. I leave every Sunday with a fired up energy and ready to share God's word.

I am writing this review related to my experience with Grove Community Church's Bereavement Team,…read moreand their amazing Bereavement Coordinator, Debi Miller. Over the summer, I lost both of my grandparents. Debi is who my mom and I coordinated with to use Grove Community Church for their celebration of life ceremonies and the repast proceedings. Debi was so caring, compassionate, and patient throughout the process. She is transparent and lays everything out you need to know for the process during the initial counseling meeting and then in writing via email. She lays out each step of the process. Her and the whole Grove staff/team were just so accommodating and service oriented during the actual memorial services, and they made each of the memorials look and feel so classy and beautiful. We feel like we honored my grandparents the way they deserved, and that would not have been possible without Debi's coordination and care for us. We highly recommend her and the Grove Community Church if you're looking for a venue to honor your loved one who has transitioned.

Teachers do not need a teaching degree to teach, for a school that should be valuing education, that seems a little backwards. They will use incorrect verbiage IN writing and then the pastor will try to change the narrative even though he's NEVER participated in the meetings for my child. They protect themselves, not your students. You will not be valued.

However, before service and during service I noticed a young lady with a rude attitude towards others and almost mocking the announcements. It was very disappointing as later I found out she was leading the worship team and it sincerely took away from feeling connected to worship and the church in itself. After some time I found out her name is Tiera, the pastor's daughter and it was even more disappointing. As difficult it is to report this experience, I will not be going back to this church but I wish many great things for the church and its active members
