Greatest place for the family to grow in God. Amazing LAKELAND PARK now open for kids!!!read more

In 2012 , I attended their small group, celebrate recovery for "hurts, hang ups and habits"…read more (A Christian based 12 step program like AA.) I was so impressed by the Pastor Josh, his wife Lisa and church that I became a member. The volunteers are always helpful and smiling! I was born and raised Catholic and always had questions no one could really answer... so I always felt lost. When I found Lakeland Community Church, I felt like I was "home"! I get so much out of the weekly sermons. I frequently feel like the message was "directed and meant just for me and where I'm at in my life." I look so forward to every Sunday message. I must not be alone, since the church has grown and they are constantly expanding. There are small groups you can join that will help strengthen your journey in life and your relationship with Jesus. Recently, they opened up a Lakeland play land/park which is 5000 ft.² for children to play, all free and open to the community. During spring break, the Playland was so busy with children and their families that it hit capacity several times. So I would say that Lakeland's Playland is a huge hit with the church and the local communities!! My Grandson (7y) has given it a huge "thumb up"!! I hope my review will help some individuals & families to find their home in Jesus at LCC. God bless Denise H

There's ample parking with a ramp from the parking lot to the sidewalk/entrance. The congregation is bigger than I thought it would be from the outside, maybe around 50-75 people. There were a good number of children with a wide age range. After the worship, the children went to Sunday School, I enjoyed the bluegrassy worship music. Everyone has their own sermon preference. It seems like there are two pastors. The younger pastor gave the sermon. It was on Paul's advice for how to live, specifically examining Philippians 3. Everything is wheelchair accessible, including the restrooms that have a spacious accessible stall. The worship area is also accessible with detachable single seats, which I prefer to permanent seats that cannot be moved for wheelchairs. They even had chairs already removed for wheelchairs on both sides of the back rows. I can't remember if there were parking spaces specifically designed for people with disabilities, although it could have been hidden by the snow. They did do a good job at clearing the snow, but some spaces had some icy snow. The parking spaces directly in front of the door and ramp were all open, even though we came literally a few seconds before the service started. The people generally seemed nice. They had a reception after the service with snacks, tea, and coffee. It was a nice time for the kids to run around and for the adults to mingle.
