They just put babies in containers and hope parents arent going to call them out for unsafe practices. Even after i spoke with the director who assured me this wouldnt happen again, twice the third day they had him sleeping in a rocker intentionally immediately after eating. How a daycare doesnt know about SIDs and positional asphyxiation is beyond me. And they placed my 3 month old in an activity center he isnt old enough for and said "its for core strength". Literally google when you can use activity centers and it gives the guidance that the child needs to be able to sit up on their own. We got a full refund and the owner admitted fault but that doesnt make up for putting my child at risk.

I've seen many kids become difficult and hit others or defy the rules and everytime the teachers have done what they needed to correct the situation. They do not touch the child or harshly discipline them. This school is the closest you can get to perfect. Some days my child has come home smelling of perfume because a teacher was cuddling her. I also always get a phone call when my child is injured like falling on the playground or bitten as a baby. Not only are the teachers amazing with a low turnover rate, but the curriculum is amazing! My daughter came home one day telling me what a chrysalis is! What 4 year old knows that?! I would recommend this school to anyone! My daughter gets upset when I pick her up at night because she has such a good time there. It's nice to know she's happy all day when I'm at work.

We feel the vision and values of Far Hills are in line with what we believe to be a truly well rounded education. We love seeing our children come home happy and excited. We love that our children's academic and emotional needs are individually met. Every teacher we have met has shown an exceptional sense of love for FH. They all take a lot of pride in how they contribute to making FH a great school. There is a feeling of belonging and unity at each of the many events. There is no concern of what grade your child is in, we are all in this together, striving to better our children. There is a joint effort with FHCDS and their families to continually improve upon the school. Staff, students, and families have a genuine love for the school.
