For example, a small percentage of the congregation raises their hands during worship. (I have not heard anyone speak in tongues, but there are probably some there who do.) I would say that 90% of attendees/members range in age from 18-30. So, the praise and worship music is contemporary. The worship team rotates musicians and singers in and out every so often, and I think that is excellent because it gives more people opportunities to serve. They all do fantastic jobs. The pastor is excellent. His Biblical messages are well-organized and thought out. Sometimes he uses unconventional methods to get his points across. I think this is very effective with a young congregation. During the school year, services are PACKED. So, get there early.

It's a come as you are jeans and all. The music Ministry is wonderful, modern and old school songs, all lyrics are projected onto a giant screen (no hymnals to fiddle with). No pressure just the presence of the Lord. A wonderful Children's program as we found out today as the kids blessed with music and a wonderful skit of the birth of Jesus! Fine, fine folks, richly steeped in the the Word, thin on unnecessary, grandiose, 'I love me' sermons. Senior pastor is friendly, sincere, has a huge heart, and his sermons are about the Bible. Go figure! Sure enjoy this group of folks.

They encourage community. The service is a mix of modern and traditional. It has a worship leader, but they sing some traditional songs. The pastors rotate through, which seems to keep one pastor from being the it" guy. The nice thing is they continue the sermon topic no matter who's speaking. This is a bible based church. They start in a book and work through it verse by verse. It's not a dry as I just made that sound. The pastors are all interesting (although different styles). Give it a try! It was found out by their school that my husband was molesting my daughter who was 5 at the time. Associate pastor Mark Yoakam was his name said I would be breaking apart a Godly family if I left the marriage. I had gone to visit a therapist he had recommended to me that gave me advise stating that it was my job to protect my babies. I went to speak with Ronnie Floyd about the situation and he totally blew me off. In my opinion these men tried to cover up and protect the molester. I would not trust the leadership of this church. God knows the truth and these people will meet their maker one day.

My wife and I were concerned from the get go on this Sunday service. After standard processions the service opened up with a video of a young couple "who were living in sin"...the female in the couple decided to dedicate her life to Christ after attending for quite some time. She then proceeded to get baptised at which time the congregation denied her due to her living situation. This wasnt the only situation...also politics at the pulpit, and extreme boasting of the churches size and donations incurred were other primary subjects targeted during the service. My wife and I were disgusted and ashamed that a congregation as large and powerful as this would be so judgemental to deny a woman her baptisim. We are all living in sin...not that it is ok but showing others that we as Christians are not to judge but to accept and love to be examples to those and to not condemn...after all, was that not what Jesus wanted of us. It is congregations like this that I pray believer's will not find, especially those new to their faith. We will not return nor do we reccomend this place to any other. We apologize to any of you reading this, were sorry to say this about a church of our religion...the bottom line here is the truth, please dont let this experience deter you. Dont let discouragment dissuade you from a life that is more fufilling then you could have ever managed. I've attended the monthly men's meeting which is a great opportunity to worship. We enjoy the music and preaching. Everyone is very nice. Many opportunities to get involved and grow spiritually
