What a great experience this place was! We simply wanted to stop in for a tasting and maybe a small snack before dinner but we got so much more! I was surprised they were open, tbh, considering everything closes between lunch and dinner in Sardinia. When we arrived around 1700 it was very quiet..i thought maybe they aren't really open.. but then an employee greeted us and showed us to a table. Our server explained we could do either just a wine tasting or a wine and food pairing prepared by their chef and that my gluten allergy could be accommodated, so we went for that. We sampled 5 Sardinian wines with unbelievable little tapas sized pairings. The flavors were incredible and a couple of these tiny little dishes stand out as some of the best things I ate the whole trip. The wine was amazing, ugh and so affordable. I hate coming back to Seattle after buying wine in Italy. We splurged a whole 30E on two glorious bottles to take home. The store itself is fun to walk through and really well organized by country and region. Mostly European and some Australian and NZ wines. If we are ever back in Cagliari I would definitely visit this place again. read more
