We came here for a free family event, which was a small music festival for very young kids. They had live music, animals for a petting zoo, an ice cream sundae station, a musical petting zoo (trying out instruments), food trucks, bubble machines, and more. The event itself was great, and it also happened to be our first visit to this park. I didn't even know it existed. It is a beautiful park, right along the scenic river and also surrounded by trees - I'm sure the fall foliage is pretty incredible here. There are plenty of picnic tables around and it seems like such a relaxing spot to spend a nice day out with your family. I would definitely go back. read more
