The Ferreteria is a local family-owned hardware/ tools store that has been a fixture of El Paso for more than 17 years! The owner Gayateno is a great resource for technical advices but most of it in Spanish, which always helps me to practice my basic knowledge of the language. This place is a real cave of Ali Baba with thousands treasures at great value. From a simple hammer to measuring tools, as well as Sheetrock, craftsman tools, cleaning products, masonry and much more - you can find almost anything needed to home improvements! CRK Ferretería is located on Montana Street close to HWY 54 between Houston St. & N. Boone St. CRK is a local family-owned hardware store that has been serving the city of El Paso and Fort Bliss for close to two decades. They are well staffed, and the first time I visited, I experienced their top-notch customer service after one of them noticed I needed help searching for some items to fix my dryer. In addition to all hardware store-related items, they sell local eatables such as empanadas and fresh pecans. CRK Ferretería accepts cash and credit cards. Their parking seems small, but I have always been able to park immediately outside. If this is your first time here, ensure you slow down so you don't pass the entrance; either way, you can turn on the following street to drive around.
