I forgot to mention I HATE dentist office. Thankfully the last few years only required cleanings. Now a tooth ache and a fear of the pain that was coming. Dr. Eric was AMAZING. He explained everything until he was sure I understood my options. Showed me the x-ray and explained what I was looking at. Gave me time to make a decision and then came back to make sure I was ok before proceeding. Usually we are afraid of the unknown, but he made sure I knew everything he was doing and that was so helpful and calming. He was patient and kind. He offered humor and a smile throughout the entire visit. If and when I have to return, this is who I would go back to. Thank you Dr. Eric for your patience and your amazing service. I paid Dr. Lenchner $12,450 for a three-tooth replacement bridge specifically to keep my TMJ in check. Higher than the normal cost, but I assumed (wrongly) that the high fee was because he was a TMJ expert. WRONG. Lenchner's bridge never fit properly. It immediately threw my spine out of alignment, compressing my vagal nerves, creating severe pain and nausea for over a month, despite repeated visits to him for adjustments. Plus, 7 chiropractic visits attempting to solve the problem. My chiropractor observed that the spine in my neck had become like a corkscrew. Finally, after weeks of severe pain, he removed his bridge and glued the old bridge back in. Pain and nausea gone right away. So I had basically paid him $12,450 to be in severe pain for many weeks. Then, 36 hours after he glued the old bridge back in, after eating only liquids, it fell out in my mouth. I have never had ANY bridge fall out in my mouth before! DO NOT USE MICHAEL LENCHNER. I had to wait an hour to be attended, there was only one dental hygienist attending all patients. While waiting to be attended the receptionist had numerous phone calls from patients stating that they were billed incorrectly for services. 7. The main dentist was yelling at one of his patients next door, which this obviously shows there is no bedside manner. 8. The dental hygienist was trying to sell me fluoride for $60.00, which is very expensive and in other places they charge $40.00 for flouride. My mother, sister, and I have been going to Prosthodontic Associates of New York for many years now…read more(probably just around 15 or so) and we have all received the most top-notch care from the entire team and staff. I have been singing this practice's praises for so many years, and I would recommend them a thousand times over. Dr. Abjanich, Dr. Donovan, and Dr. Goldin are absolute masters of their craft. Not only that, but they also have the most phenomenal bedside manner. Dr. Abjanich, Dr. Donovan, and Dr. Goldin are all perfectionists yet they have never suggested unnecessary procedures or tried to upsell their services. The hygienists are also fabulous. The front desk staff is so friendly, helpful, extremely responsive (I've called and they've texted me back right away), and accommodating of busy schedules (greatly appreciated with demanding work hours). The office is immaculate, beautiful, spacious, and in a great location (right near Grand Central). Dr. Donovan did my Invisalign in the year leading up to my sister's wedding (I had crowding on my bottom teeth and I wanted to change that), and I couldn't be happier with the results. I've also had my teeth whitened with the Zoom system here, which was great to do before my engagement shoot and wedding. My teeth always feel immaculate after the cleanings. I always get so many compliments on my smile, and I always tell people to give this practice a call. Most people complain about going to the dentist, seriously dread it, or even avoid going altogether. I've never been able to relate to that. I literally had a $150 consultation at another practice and cray and ct were included in that consultation fee. Like my consultation was divided in quadrants and time frames that were dependent upon the amount of $ they could get out of me that day before I left. Unprofessional? Yes! Liars and not upfront about consultation fee? Yes! Overcharging for basic dental test? Yes! What else could possibly go wrong on a 1st consultation?! I walked out so angry and scammed that I had to leave this review. I paid $120 for less than 2 mins of someone's time. Shame on you guys and if you plan on charging people tackled on consultation fees that aren't mentioned until the patient comes in and pays a consultation fee already then you really need to be reported to a business entity for fraud or false advertisement.
