As you can see from their website, Cristaldi carries a lot of Asian goods that you thought you might not be able to find on the island of Sicily. They got lots of Filipino, Japanese, Indian, and other ethnic group ingredients that'll help you attain that home flavor fix you may be seeking. They do have some fresh produce and frozen goods, but very limited in nature. It is mostly dry goods and Sicilian souvenir foods (chocolates, teas, etc.). Located near the heart of Catania, around Elephant Square, Cristaldi is accessible as long as you are able to park anywhere in the area. It's across the street from a Maxistore Deco and behind it is the flea market where you can buy lots of fake stuff. Being Filipino-American, I found some specific spices and noodles (Palabok to be exact) to make some dishes I love. Again, they surprisingly might have more than you think at this Italian-ran international store. So, come check it out--you will not regret it! read more

The products are fresh and and tasty. The staff were very helpful and were very generous in letting us taste before we bought.
