This store surprised me in a lot of ways ... and they're all good. I normally never shop in a tourist trap place. And I hate calling Distillery that but the food is lacklustre in my books. But this little cute boutique has some gems... which includes the staff.
So if you need a boost of confidence, a sexy little outfit that still looks demure somehow, and a magic mirror that gives you legs for days, this is your spot. Tucked into a smaller alley of Distillery, you can find this cute women's fashion boutique Crimson & Clover. It is a smaller spot but it covers 2 floors. It takes in the historical bones of the place and throws in a lot of great cute outfits... it is mostly cute streetwear or casual brunch outfits... some border towards edgier takes or even 50s old school vibes.
As for me, I kinda fell in love with an thinly strapped dress that somehow cinches the waist, gives me curves, skims off the legs without being tight, and gives a hint of a slit ... but just a tease. All this for under $100. I was really surprised because something that looks this good wouldn't be normally be this easy to find within a lower price point. It also helps that the magic mirror they have in the change room made me look like I had legs for days... this is a miracle for a shorty like me.
As for the staff, they're hilariously confident boosters. They're practically your own personal cheer squad as you try on things but they're also honest when something isn't as good. They're just properly polite about it... 'Oh thats different but that other dress on you is unbelievable. You should go try that style back on.' I do love an honest opinion.
So now I've got my brunch looks down thanks to Crimson Clover. A quick note... they have really good deals upstairs on previous seasonal offerings. You can find things for 50% off easily. read more
