The staff here always looks out for the dogs' best interests and I trust them 100% with my puppies' lives. They have saved Stout and I know that if anything happens to Merwin, they will take good care of him. They are not the least expensive clinic but they also go above and beyond to make sure that animals are safe during surgery and well cared for all year round. Estimates are itemized and explained so you know what is optional and what is necessary. And they do a great job of explaining a variety of potential scenarios so that you can make the best decision. When I brought Stout and Merwin in together, I was impressed with how smoothly that went. Normally Stout doesn't love going to the vet. He loves Dr. Leach but he's had so many dental surgeries that he associates the vet with being uncomfortable. But with he and Merwin together, he seemed to relax a little and enjoy seeing Dr. Leach. Needless to say, if you are looking for a vet, I have no reservations about recommending Dr. Leach!

Concerned, I contacted another vet for a second opinion. It took them only moments to realize something was seriously wrong. From there we were referred to a neurologist, who confirmed that my dog has a brain tumor or another serious neurological condition. I truly believe that if the right steps had been taken earlier, my dog might have had a better chance at getting the help he needed. Instead, my 8-year-old dog has now been given only 3 to 6 months to live. Dr. Rice also seemed uncomfortable around my dog. He immediately had him wear a muzzle and came across as very standoffish. My dog has never shown any aggression toward him or anyone else at the clinic before. When Dr. Rice took my dog to the back to check his ears, I could hear my dog screaming. I have never heard him make a noise like that before, which was very concerning to me as his owner. It made me feel like they may not be comfortable handling medium or larger dogs, so I would advise others with similar-sized pets to be cautious. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you need a veterinarian who will thoroughly investigate serious symptoms. I recommend Creekview Veterinary Center or Green Acres Veterinary Center.
