A few years ago, David helped me secure a purchase loan for a second home--even as a self-employed borrower with complex finances. He found a program that worked, made the process smooth, and got the deal done when others couldn't. Fast forward to today, that property has gone up significantly in value. I recently reached out to David again, and he was able to help me tap into that equity with a line of credit to support the cash flow needs of my business. I was concerned because I have a lot of write-offs, but David used a bank statement loan program that worked perfectly for my situation. The process was fast, easy, and stress-free. David truly understands how to navigate the self-employed space and makes you feel like you're in good hands every step of the way. Highly recommend him and the entire team at House of Loans!

He was helping my mom reassess the USAA policy on her house, which made me nervous at first because I live across the country and didn't want her to be taken advantage of. But, after he and her talked to a USAA agent, and they made a few alterations on her policy, he advised her in the end to keep her USAA policy because "it made more sense." When he later told me on the phone what had been decided, I couldn't believe it. But, he assured me he was only interested in making sure my mom had the right insurance policy, and he did not want to pressure her to buy his product. Anyway, if you're in the Inland Empire and looking for someone who will tell it to you straight, Craig Rice is your guy!

TLDR: David and his team were AMAZING! Honestly wishing I could rate 6/5!…read more As first-time homebuyers, my partner and I spent the last 6 months looking for our dream home. After several offer rejections, we finally had 1 accepted offer in this crazy hot seller's market - the one condition was to be able to close escrow in 15 days. Realistically, we only had 13 days to close escrow due to the prior weekend being lost. After seeing Squarelend's stellar Yelp reviews, we decided to personally reach out to David to seek his lending assistance. We knew our timeline wasn't realistic in this hot market but David heard our concerns and was willing to roll up his sleeves to work with us. He immediately presented us with the daily market rate and it was honestly the BEST MORTGAGE RATE received after speaking with 5 other direct lenders/brokers. We quickly locked in our rate the following business day! David kept us cool, calmed our anxiety, and always promptly answered any of our questions. He would contact us regularly to go over all parts of the loan estimate and closing documents to ensure we truly understood everything before we proceeded to the next step! The end result? WE CLOSED ESCROW WITHIN 12 BUSINESS DAYS! This is RECORD BREAKING! Thanks so much, David and team! You guys played a huge role in our home buying process and we couldn't be happier with the results. Please ... if you're looking for lending options .. I highly recommend you consider Squarelend!! The next home I'm buying will surely be through Squarelend!
