We just transferred to a new daycare closer to our new house, so I felt compelled to share my experience at Holy Nativity because we were very reluctant to leave! Brittany is the Director & is on point. She answers questions, she is professional, kind, and you'll often find her hands-on in each of the classrooms. The rapport she has with all of her teachers is evident in their tenure. Most of the teachers have been there 10+ years. In childcare, that is unheard of. I truly believe it's a testament to Brittany's leadership & the environment created at Holy Nativity. If you are looking for a great center for your kids, here are some reasons to put this daycare on your list of places to tour: -Reasonably Priced: We were paying $305/week for Infant care (5 days a week) at Holy Nativity. Closer to our new home, the prices are more like $350+/week. It's a great value. -Teachers are experienced typically carrying Bachelor's Degrees in Education/Elementary Ed/etc. -Teachers have been there a long time & LOVE their jobs. There's nothing worse than leaving you kids with someone who doesn't care. These women love your kids like their own & you feel how genuine that is. It was one of the most important things to me when choosing a center. -Extra-Curriculars: They go above and beyond to create fun experiences for the kids. In the summer, they have an agreement with the nearby YMCA for splash-pad access in the pre-school room, they rent bounce-houses for the kids, have special musical guests, chefs, etc. WOW! -Every holiday they celebrate & Christmas involves a Christmas show with Infant Room-Preschool represented. -It's a small center: 1 infant room, 1 toddler room, 1 pre-school room. You won't fee like a number here. -Professionalism: Brittany in the office is responsive, addresses concerns, and keeps the vibe at Holy Nativity so positive. I can't recommend this school enough. My daughter Birdie has started at a new daycare but she still says 'Amy' (her Toddler teacher's name) every day on the way there. I know she misses it. I haven't enrolled her full time because I don't need full time care but throughout the past year I have used them serveral times for drop in care and it is great. The teachers are friendly and the drop in rate for care is a lot cheaper than other centers in the area. I love knowing that I have them as a back up plan if I need something.

He moved up to the second level with the preschoolers and my son and i just LOVE his teachers! He has had the same three teachers for about a year now and jumps into their arms every morning. They are amazing. The food they serve isn't the best, just like grade school would I guess, no organic meals or anything but you can bring your own food for them if you can afford it. They have fun side classes and my son brings home the sweetest stuff that he's worked on. My son comes home with great knowledge and the teachers communicate to me everything each day. *** Let me preface by saying I did not actually use Edgecumbe Montessori for my child care needs…read more This review is purely based on my experience calling and emailing them in consideration of using them for childcare. *** When I called the school to inquire about rates, etc. I have no idea who I spoke with - I could barely understand her, I even had to question whether I had dialed the right number. She could not answer any of my questions and simply told me to email them through the website. So I did. My emails were responded to casually, slowly, were not signed so, again, I have no idea who I was corresponding with. Sometimes I would go a week without receiving a response at all, and when I finally did my questions were not even addressed. To me, it showed a lack of organization and care. They were the most proximal and least expensive of the dozen daycare facilities I contacted, which are huge pros, but how can I possibly send my kid to a place that rubbed me wrong every step of the way? UPDATE: Th director of the school emailed me back (nearly 8 months later) apologizing and saying my message "went to the spam folder and got deleted". Since my emails were in direct reply to their own, I don't know how that could have happened except by someone tagging it as spam (perhaps by accident, but either way only reinforces the disorganized impression I have of this place)

My son broke his leg here and no one knows how it happened. He was 2 years old…read more They have a hard time keeping teachers. Many leave just as you get to know them. The administrative staff is very unorganized. We signed our son up for their "extra" day camps and classes, only to find out he didn't get to participate in half of them. When you walk in to the classroom, kids are running circles around the staff. Every few days my son came home with a note saying he was bit, or hit with a toy or something. If you want your young ones to get something out of their daycare... go someplace else. After a year here they asked us to either go full-time or rearrange our schedule and split a full week with another family. Well, ok - we decided it wouldn't work. So we found a different place and our son is thriving!!!!! Learning manners, comes home so happy. NO INCIDENT REPORTS. But, this place just won't go away. They charged us $100 registration fee the week before we left and charged us a full 2 weeks tuition after we left. They wanted us to change our schedule - it didn't work out - so now they want more money. I'm warning you - we had multiple tuition hikes while we were there and they charge you 2 registration fees per year. $$$$ Invest in your child. The place we go now is less expensive and such a better organization.

The teachers are dedicated, the leadership team is strong, and the center itself is beautiful and engaging for my young child. Everyone knows my child's name and is so welcoming. I know that he loves to go to Casa and I feel relieved he's enjoying his time there. I truly cannot say enough good things about the Centennial Lakes Casa team!
