The administrative staff is very unorganized. We signed our son up for their "extra" day camps and classes, only to find out he didn't get to participate in half of them. When you walk in to the classroom, kids are running circles around the staff. Every few days my son came home with a note saying he was bit, or hit with a toy or something. If you want your young ones to get something out of their daycare... go someplace else. After a year here they asked us to either go full-time or rearrange our schedule and split a full week with another family. Well, ok - we decided it wouldn't work. So we found a different place and our son is thriving!!!!! Learning manners, comes home so happy. NO INCIDENT REPORTS. But, this place just won't go away. They charged us $100 registration fee the week before we left and charged us a full 2 weeks tuition after we left. They wanted us to change our schedule - it didn't work out - so now they want more money. I'm warning you - we had multiple tuition hikes while we were there and they charge you 2 registration fees per year. $$$$ Invest in your child. The place we go now is less expensive and such a better organization.

WTM was the only one that talked about helping to teach our son how to be a "good" person rather than only focusing on skills, e.g. playing chess by age 2. The teachers in the toddler room have been amazing, my husband calls the lead toddler teacher "the toddler whisperer" because of her natural ability to handle all toddler situations and challenges. Our son has really bonded with the teachers because they put a lot of effort into understanding his individual needs. We love the fact that toddlers spend so much time outside and engage in variety of activities, from doing different types of art work, planting a garden, to enjoying picnic lunch every Tuesday in the summer. It's always a pleasant surprise when our son offers to help or says "thank you" when it wasn't solicited. That reinforces the fact that the teachers at WTM are putting as much effort into conveying the social norms and values as they do into teaching the skills. We couldn't have asked for a better daycare than WTM.

This school removes negative reviews to inflate their rating on Facebook. Our infant was averaging 3 accident reports a week (see my husband's review and profile photo of a black eye and mark on his forehead which he suffered during the morning at the school. We were not alerted about this until the afternoon. On the same day they sent home his lunch untouched.) The school director in her email to our family after this series of problems cracked the following joke and wrote in her email "I hope he is sleeping peacefully and ate a full dinner." School leadership was unprofessional and bullying toward our family, and upon further investigation we found MANY families who had recently left or been "asked to leave" due to the mismanagement of this childcare facility. Being a "true" Montessori does not excuse unprofessional behavior and safety concerns of our child. The director herself is not AMI certified. Another family had their child receive the wrong mother's breast milk and the director made a joke about this incident as well. Many negative reviews have been removed due to similar complaints and at least two of the reviews still active are from board members of the school who's children no longer attend.

Maybe so but I can't understand how someone who cares for children can be so detached from what is happening on his business. Also I got the sense that none of the people who care for the children have any training or certification at all. One of the staff was wearing ratty sweatpants with holes in them. When I asked about credentials of the staff the owner was very evasive. He just told me that the staff has "a lot of experience with children". It didn't take long to decide that this place is not going to work. I would regrettably suggest that you not waste your time by stopping in for a visit, because even if you're the least bit particular about who watches your kids, you won't line this place.

There was a woman in the window, looking over 3 toddler aged children. I thought she would've come open the door for me but didn't. You should not be operating a daycare where you are able to open the front door to a room full of toddlers as you so please. We walked inside and waited for someone to come to us, someone finally popped her head around the corner as she was chasing a half naked child, and told us the infant room was in a different building (house) behind the one we were in. We walked through the house to the next one and were greeted by another woman. I told her we were there for a meeting with Jim and she brought us through the house to go upstairs to meet him. He wasn't there. He showed up about 2 minutes later. He brought us upstairs and said, "what questions do you have?" One of the questions I asked was how often they sanitize toys, he said, "everyone's been healthy so it depends." I asked what their policy was on sick kids, again I got an answer of "it depends." Then I asked what their security was like, to which he replied "passive". I said I walked right in the front door on Cleveland and he goes, "well yeah, but not to the infant house." It doesn't seem anyone there is credentialed whatsoever, there is absolutely no security, the infant "kitchen" was filthy, it stunk, which is to be expected when you have a bunch of dirty diapers around, but it was less than tolerable. They have no sort of communication process with the parents, other than writing notes to parents at the end of the day/week and no cameras in the "facility" either. Jim was very willy nilly about everything I'd asked, I asked if he had a packet of info he could send me home with, he didn't, and it seemed to have very little structure. I would absolutely not bring my child here.
