History

Established in 2001.

While at the National Outdoor Leadership School, environmental educators wanted to create an impact in the world with sustainability. At first, we were involved in all forms of renewable energy: solar, wind and water. This included installing solar for mountain cabins, wind power for remote ranches, ground source heat pumps and micro-hydroelectric systems.We wanted to be Captain Planet, installing these different methods of renewable energy, but we found solar to be the most effective and realistic for folks. So now, we are Captain Sunny Solar :)

Meet the Business Owner: Scott K.

Hi there! I'm Scott Kane. As the cofounder of Creative Energies, I serve the world through conservation, climate change awareness and advocacy. I am certified as a North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioner (NABCEP) and am on the board of directors at the Wyoming Outdoor Council. My passion to protect the environment cultivated as an environmental educator with the National Outdoor Leadership School. I still am committed to this as you can find me competing as an avid endurance athlete in trail running and ski marathons outside of work as well.
