I do a lot of online shopping. So when I was in the market for some French onion soup bowls, I naturally turned to the web first. I found the Le Creuset ones on Creative Cookware's website for a really great price last year (or maybe it was the year before) around a holiday - they were the cheapest I could find (I think $16/bowl) that would ship to Canada for free - no customs fees either. I was a little hesitant to order from them since I'd never heard of them before, but I took a chance and bought 6 bowls (was able to pay through Paypal which always makes me feel better). They shipped my bowls promptly and I received them I think within the week, all carefully packed and in perfect condition. I emailed them to let them know how happy I was with the experience and I actually got a nice email back from someone who works there. Since my purchase, they have upgraded the site and it is a lot more pleasing to the eye. I would absolutely buy from them again - I am eyeing a Marcato pasta maker right now :) read more

Based on their web site description, I ordered a mandolin slicer, $89.99 US, to make onion rings. We needed one that could slice onions into 1/2" thick slices, according to the ad on their web site it could do that. Their order processing was slow but I did receive the item. However, when I tried to use it I found the 1/2" slice spec was wrong. The thickest slice possible with the item is 3/8". In addition, when slicing a large onion there is an protrusion underneath the slicer that causes the vegetable to stop before getting all the way past the blade. If it is forced it will break the slice. Via email I obtained an RMA number for return... after some delay... but when I found out the shipping would be nearly $45.00 US. I sent another email asking for them to pay return shipping.... no response. It has been weeks now without response from this company. I will not buy from them in the future and I would urge caution if you decide to purchase from them lest you get stuck like me. read more

I have had really good experience with creative cookware. They had the best price on the espresso machine I ordered and sent it promptly, along with a few freebies (espresso beans, cups, etc.). It has worked great for 6 years and now I am considering upgrading and will definitely order from them again. read more

Never again. I ordered a coffee grinder a few years ago. Everything was fine and I ordered two copper frying pans for a birthday present. Big mistake. There was no any word on their site about item being out of stock. After feeding me with 'later this week', 'early next week', 'shipment is clearing customs', etc. they finally said that they don't have any date for the pan I ordered. May be 10 days. May be not. BTW, there is still nothing on their site about item(s) being on back order. My wild guess - when I ordered it was on big discount, now they sell it for full price and just don't want to ship it for the sale price. Anyway, I had to cancel order, still waiting for refund - they charged my card immediately, also a bad sign. Overall experience was highly frustrating. As I said - never again. read more

I have been dealing with "JOE" for the past week.. I place an order on the 9th of January and then realized i wanted to upgrade the size (a pressure cooker) and emailed back the changes. Joe finally responded saying that they didn't have either model would I like to wait for 2 weeks until new shipment arrived? I indicated NO and that I would like a full refund...he stated that the 'order had been cancelled and i would get my refund back'. Which has not happened yet and I was charged American funds, which the site gave no indication of such practice!!! My credit card company is now dealing with this issue... I should of known better...after scanning the website, the company has no address or contact numbers just one email address. I only found this site due to the charge on my Visa Card which indicated a Quebec address...stay away from this shoddy company!! read more

The pressure cooker I ordered here was of great quality and the price was the best I could find anywhere. They shipped it within 3 days and the product had top ratings. Surprised that it came from quebec but then again I will be looking at their website in the future for sure if I need other products. read more

If you're buying from Creative Cookware ONLY pay through PayPal. I had an issue with my purchase from Creative Cookware and the only method of contacting them is thru their website. After several requests to contact me I was ignored. I had to file a PayPal claim and they didn't respond to the PayPal claim. PayPal awarded the claim in my favor but this was a lengthy process. It wasn't until I had this issue and did some research online and learned that I'm not the only one that had the same issue with them not contacting customers. I think it is safe to buy from them, just use PayPal as a back up if something goes wrong because it is highly unlikely they will contact you if you request. read more

I ordered a Staub cooking pot from this company in May. Two months later and I have received nothing but emails saying that they expect the item to be in stock "next week". I tried to call the phone number listed on the website but just get a message saying that they aren't taking phone calls and to email them. Buyer beware of this outfit! read more

Stay away from this site. I bought a "solid copper" jam pan from them. Upon reading the instructions w/the pan I found that it was "electroplated w/tin". There is NO phone number to reach this organization and when I did find a phone number, it brought me to an organization of the same name--and the person w/whom I spoke there said, "stay away from that place." Referring to Creative Cookware in Canada, not the US. The only way to reach this place is by email and the person who communicated w/me, named JOE (no last name) tried to convince me to keep the pan, didn't believe it was "electroplated w/tin". He finally agreed to issue an RMA, but said that I should return the pan in the "original" packaging. I happily agreed as the packaging had seen better days--seems to have been sent around the world--and is not only falling apart, but is too small for the pan. Thus someone at "creative" cookware stuck a piece of white cardboard into the packaging to cover the gap. AND, I just paid $29.13 to return the pan!! Beware!!! read more

I just received damaged cookware from them which was scratched and no one answers when you call them. The non stick coating was scratched off and if you look at their so called "reviews" they are biased and you cannot actually go on their website to write a review yourself. read more

Prices are good, and shipping is fast. Recently ordered a copper set from them that was cheaper than anywhere else I have seen and it arrived in three days. We later decided that it doesn't suit our needs so I emailed them about a return. The next day they sent a Fedex truck to pick up the copper set and I was issued a FULL refund with no hassle whatsoever. I would do business with them again! read more
