I was immediately drawn to the professionalism and expertise of the team. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable but still relatable and easy to approach. I really appreciated this because sometimes it can be extremely nerve wrecking to ask for professional advice. I utilized the career launch kit and worked closely with Becky Schwarz. Most importantly I want to mention how patient and helpful she was during the entire process. I initially signed up for the service around February of 2020 and then I was hit with some unexpected health issues and then the pandemic shut down happened. Long story short I was going through a lot physically and emotionally as you can imagine! Eventually I got it together and was ready to begin working with the YNJ team again to update my resume and LinkedIn. Becky was patient, understanding and attentive throughout the entire process. I can tell you that I wasn't the easiest client to work with lol. From March 2020-October 2020 I experienced lots of professional changes within the same company due to various project rotations and an organization restructure. For reference I work in a non-tech role for a tech startup. Becky and the team were able to take all of the changes and feedback I provided to create an absolutely amazing resume and linked in profile. I have not been actively looking for new employment since utilizing the YNJ services but I have received significantly more traffic to my LinkedIn and great comments from recruiters about my resume. I appreciated the email reminders before the appointment. Timothy gave me a call promptly at 9pm and walked me through the basics of strengthening a resume. Since the appointment was only 15 minutes, he cut right to the chase. I took notes as he discussed how to word a resume to get employers to notice it. At the end of the call, I received some example resume templates to use. The appointment went by fast but Timothy was efficient in his explanations. I went to Dupree Security Group for fingerprinting for a new work project. I received a link from…read moremy recruiter and made an appointment online. Unfortunately, making an appointment doesn't matter because it's first-come, first-served. I wish I'd known this because I would have been there first thing in the morning. There were 4 people in front of me for fingerprinting, so something that I thought would take 10 minutes took 30. The fingerprinting is electronic and performed in the office lobby. It doesn't take long if you relax and let the person do their job. I was told that it can take between 2 days and 2 weeks for the fingerprint results to come back. Two weeks seem awfully long, but I guess everyone under-promises so that they can appear to over-deliver. Parking is free for the first 15 minutes, but it's $2 for every 15-30 minutes after that. My 30 minute visit cost me $4, and I was annoyed because I hate paying for parking. And Dupree doesn't validate. September 30/30 #10

They're just relaying information. And as far as parking, the process is generally really fast so it's not ridiculous that they don't validate. When setting up an appointment for fingerprinting, if you don't show up on time, you can't expect to be fingerprinted first! Overall my experiences with them have always been positive!
