Your Next Jump

Your Next Jump recently reviewed my resume and I am so thankful that they did! I scheduled a late…read morenight appointment at 9pm on a weekday. I appreciated the email reminders before the appointment. Timothy gave me a call promptly at 9pm and walked me through the basics of strengthening a resume. Since the appointment was only 15 minutes, he cut right to the chase. I took notes as he discussed how to word a resume to get employers to notice it. At the end of the call, I received some example resume templates to use. The appointment went by fast but Timothy was efficient in his explanations. The information Timothy shared was extremely helpful for me! I would highly recommend using Your Next Jump for help in improving a resume.

I have been sprucing up my resume by reading online advice but knew it could be MUCH better, I needed a way to make sure my resume stood out. Your Next Jump came to the rescue. I spoke to Tim Lo who within just 10 minutes into the phone call already gave me insightful feedback and really highlighted a few things to keep in mind while sprucing it up. Now my resume is really sharp and something I can really be proud of, a resume that puts me front and center and moves me forward to the hiring managers. I can't say enough good things! Try them out, I promise you will not regret it.

I went to Dupree Security Group for fingerprinting for a new work project. I received a link from…read moremy recruiter and made an appointment online. Unfortunately, making an appointment doesn't matter because it's first-come, first-served. I wish I'd known this because I would have been there first thing in the morning. There were 4 people in front of me for fingerprinting, so something that I thought would take 10 minutes took 30. The fingerprinting is electronic and performed in the office lobby. It doesn't take long if you relax and let the person do their job. I was told that it can take between 2 days and 2 weeks for the fingerprint results to come back. Two weeks seem awfully long, but I guess everyone under-promises so that they can appear to over-deliver. Parking is free for the first 15 minutes, but it's $2 for every 15-30 minutes after that. My 30 minute visit cost me $4, and I was annoyed because I hate paying for parking. And Dupree doesn't validate. September 30/30 #10

They're just relaying information. And as far as parking, the process is generally really fast so it's not ridiculous that they don't validate. When setting up an appointment for fingerprinting, if you don't show up on time, you can't expect to be fingerprinted first! Overall my experiences with them have always been positive!

LINKED IN Job Seekers MUST READ!…read more It has been assumed that Linked In is a safe-haven protection for job seekers in their search for work or their next assignment. However, a freelance so-called 'recruiter' made a striking confession, when challenged on her recruiting initiatives. "Christine Lyle" with a title of "Director of Recruiting," from which organization, it is still questionable? Much like a Nigerian phishing scheme, 'Christine Lyle' came phishing for information about a position that she could NOT provide any information on with solidarity, and confessed that she'd used a Linked In search agent to find me, based on my skills, and had NOT carefully made any effort to match this so-called 'job opportunity' with my skills and talent. Lyle promoted the following: Dear Jeremy, I hope you are well. A client of my colleagues, an agency near Inman Yard. Is looking for a project manager/coordinator. They have a 7AM-1PM shift or 3-9PM shift. The role is $20/HR. I have some details below! If you are interested please email your updated resume to Blair @ bcrosby AT 24seveninc DOTcom Using my professional discernment lens, being a professional PM / Scrum Master / Agile coach, I have NEVER been offered a part-time PM role with a set 6-hour per day hourly schedule at a rate 300% less than the median Dice salary for a PM position of my talent caliber. When I questioned Lyle on why she thought this was a good fit, with consideration that she claims to be the "Director of Recruiting,"she confessed and apologized for contacting me, as she had used a search tool on Linked In to solicit a position to me WITHOUT fulfilling her recruiting responsibilities. No better than a 3rd grader who knows how to search for 'penguins' or 'Madden 2019' at Bing or Google, this embarrassing hoax was revealed and exposed.

Great company, they are really on the ball about finding candidates the perfect role for their…read morepassionate needs~!
