The low level noise from other users (being on the phones etc.) and outside traffic is manageable. What is ridiculous however is the sound of people singing and 'playing' instruments.. There must have been some kind of toddler group going on, which unfortunately echoed throughout the building. When I asked staff if a quiet area was available, I was told that I was in it. I would not recommend this library if you wish to study or achieve any sort of focus for doing work, as a staff member listed off several days and times this sort of 'group' attends.

The Crawley Library has a good range of books, it has 2 floors, on the second floor, you find all to do with references, newspaper's articles, encyclopedias, etc. On the ground floor you have all the books, dvd's and some films, for the dvds and films, you usually have to pay a small fee but this is a fraction of what you would pay compare to renting a film from somewhere like Blockbusters. The staff is really knowledgeable and friendly, ooop, almost forgot, they also have computers, again, you can browse the net for a small fee. The Library is opposite Crawley College. You can easily get there by bus or train as both stations are within the vicinity.
