What concerns us so much is not the consultation fee, but the elder abuse by Kaiden Elder Law in your retention of our $1,897.50 from our fixed income for services you never rendered. You say, "When hired, our policy is to obtain a retainer for 50% of our total legal fees upfront." You were 'upfront' to retain 50% of your legal fees, but not so 'upfront' to inform us of this policy. We never, ever were informed by you that Kaiden Elder Law would keep 50% ($1,987.50) of retainer fees, should we not continue with your law firm. After we signed the retainer agreement, emailed rough drafts were sent to us from you the very next day. We called your law firm within the first week of doing business and spoke with Francesca who never asked why we wanted to cancel, but simply said they would keep the first 50% or $1,987.50 for emailed "paperwork." You had very little time to put forth effort in such a short period of time. You say, "We then do 50% of the work and send rough drafts to our clients." Your so-called "50% of the work" consisted of emailed legal forms that we had to print out ourselves in an effort to understand their legal interpretation! Our family member's names were mentioned in a few of the documents-- the rest was meaningless preset forms. We know you did not earn your keep! Your effort and time was at minimal. We clearly accuse you of greediness, not caring about your clients and Elder Abuse -- Randall Kaiden. Our advise to Senior Citizens and to Everyone: Before seeking the right plan of legal services for estate planning, please get a referral from your trusted Bank. Our Bank is Logix. Their referral has provided us with a comprehensive estate plan with no strings attached. We have not only gotten a better financial deal, but clearly better service and understanding with a definitive estate plan.

It gave my husband and I peace of mind that our minor children have their resources protected and a guardian named. And I have full confidence that if anything happened, Randall is more than qualified to help navigate my family thru estate wills and trust. But where I really am grateful, is the expertise they have in dealing with elder law. My father is a difficult person even at the best of times. He has been kicked out of multiple nursing homes and one board and care home. Nursing homes have a dark underbelly that I don't think the public is fully aware of as they will try to dump difficult patients, manipulate unsuspecting/ignorant family members into discharging into situations that aren't right for the patient, in addition to bullying family members, etc. It's been a very, very difficult road to navigate alone and not being aware of my father's rights, I've made - what I think were uninformed choices because I didn't know better until I retained Mr. Kaiden. Money wasn't discussed until after I said I would go with them. Within 2 days I had Doctors and therapy. My rehab wasn't fast, nor should it be.
