I am blown away by the awful experience I had trying to order flowers for a funeral with Crall's. I was the first person to call and other family members would have been calling shortly after me. The lady that answered the phone was very nice but when I started with the first order and said we wanted yellow roses an awful woman next to her started mouthing off with a very rude attitude saying- No ! No ! No ! We are not doing that ! he can order a basket but we are not getting that specific on what he gets. Not only did I end the call but I quickly called other family members and told them not to call there and we needed to find another florist. My order was not even close to the photo of the standing spray I ordered (costing $160). Crall's told me they had a supply issue and used the same flowers but put them in a vase and added more to make up the issue. When I contacted them by email, they said I should have given them a chance to correct the arrangement, which doesn't make sense if there was a supply issue. They even questioned how dear the deceased was to me if I was complaining about the arrangement! I attended this wake and funeral from out of town. Why couldn't they call me about the supply issue? I was very embarrassed when I saw my order at the funeral home! Their refund policy states if not satisfied, they will give a partial or full refund, but they refused. When I stated I would contact my credit card company, they replied that they have records of what the arrangement cost for them to make. I so regret using this florist. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS TERRIBLE PLACE FOR MOTHERS DAY! My order for mother's day was delivered a day early and to the wrong address. I gave specific instructions on the delivery due to past issues of deliveries going to the wrong house next door. When my Mom called to work out a correction, she was met with a nasty attitude and hung up on. When she called back she was berated by the owner saying "she's not dealing with rudeness and you can call all day if you want" When I called (4 times before they would pick up which clearly triggered them more) I was met with a rude owner accusing my mom of being rude even when my mom apologized for any perceived rudeness and only trying to get to a resolution. The owner is a nasty rude woman with 0 customer service skills and compassion. Get out of the florist business if you are this miserable to berate customers on a mistake that was cleary made on behalf the company. read more

I ordered from their website for my mother's 89th birthday. The flowers ordered were variations of purple and lavender (my mom's favorite colors), but the flowers arrived and weren't even close. [NOTE: I realize that some flowers may not be in season and the florist does need to substitute.] I was disappointed so I called them the day after they were delivered. The woman I spoke with was very rude and said, "Do you want me to go pick them up and credit your card?" What an awful suggestion. She then asked what I wanted her to do but I don't recall what I said to her. I started to say something else and she said that it was her turn to talk and that I needed to listen. HAHA! I said that I will NEVER order from them again! Her response was "Good!" I said goodbye and hung up. She even texted me a picture of the flowers...again, looked nothing like I ordered. So sad as they had done a beautiful job before. Don't waste your time with this florist! If the flowers had matched in quality then I wouldn't have minded the $125 spent. My husband and I bought funeral flowers for my mother-in-laws passing a few months ago. I had told Nicole that her favorite flowers were anthurium and she did not hesitate to order them for me. It was unbelievably beautiful and very classy. Cost wasn't an issue for us but the flowers were very reasonable in price. read more

$233.20 for 2 bouquets that look absolutely atrocious. Ordered 2 prom bouquets, one was supposed to have blue, lavender, and white colors throughout it, with a blue boutonnière to go with it. I even sent the lady I spoke with at the counter a photo of what I wanted! The other bouquet was supposed to have all varying shades of pink, with NO boutonnière to go with it. I was told the total would be $210 for both bouquets at the time of ordering but upon picking them up it was a total of $233.20. I looked at the first bouquet, it was supposed to have varying shades of pink, it didn't. I didn't say anything as I thought "okay it's still pink whatever" and there was a boutonnière in there as well even though I never ordered one for this bouquet and there was not one on the order sheet. When he brought the second bouquet out, I was confused since it looked almost identical to the first one, it was all pink with tiny slivers of blue in the background, with a PINK BOUTONNIÈRE. Even though I explicitly told the woman that it was to be a BLUE BOUTONNIÈRE. I told the man who brought it out that there was supposed to be more blue in the flowers and he just grunted at me. There was nothing I could do but take the flowers because I obviously needed them for a prom that was that night. Both of the bouquets did not look fresh at all and honestly looked like they were thrown together by a first grader and I had to go to Giant Eagle and Shop n save to try to find other flowers that I could place in the bouquet as to not disappoint the young girl they were going to. I tried numerous times to call both the business and the cell phone of the woman I spoke with to try and see if there was anything to do and I was put to voicemail each time. I would highly discourage anyone from ever ordering flowers from this establishment unless they want to be disappointed. I usually would say support your local businesses, just not this one. Take your business elsewhere, never order flowers that you expect to be quality from here. read more

Crall's flower shop in Monongahela, PA has probably THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. You do not yell at your customers, ESPECIALLY when we were not even asking anything from them. They wanted nothing to do with us or our concerns. The flowers that come out of this shop are in extremely poor condition and most do not last more than a few days. I live in California and thought I was doing something great by sending flowers for Mother's Day. The florist I usually dealt with is no longer in business and FTD directed my order to here. What a disappointment!!!! Bad enough I am across country and cannot be present for Mother's Day, but worse to get the phone call that it looks like the florist just jammed some flowers together from a fridge leftovers and better arrangements came via Overstock.com. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADAHE! I ordered flowers for a birthday to be delivered on the same day. The order was never delivered and when I sent an email to complain I ended up getting a call from Crall's Flower Shop. This shop is partnered with "Tele-Floral" I assume and told me because "Tele-Floral" did not get back to them yesterday, they did not deliver the flowers and that my complaint is with them. Whoever I spoke with, a male, decided to hang up on me when I pointed out that this is a problem between their shop and "Tele-Floral" because I have no partnership with anyone. All I did was go online and order flowers through Troys Florist to get a local store to deliver. But somehow I am at fault. The people working at this shop are rude an only want to deflect and lay blame to other people instead of working through the situation. I would never buy another arrangement from here again. The owner is one of the rudest people you'd ever meet. My Grandpa passed away, our whole family ordered flowers from her, and the wrong arrangements showed up at the funeral home. We went in there the same day as the funeral service and she asked us if he was dead and buried already because she wouldn't give us a refund. We also have proof from another relative that called to order flowers that the owner thought the viewing was on Friday instead of Sunday, which proves why the flowers looked so bad - they were prepared for Friday and sat around for a few days. I received flowers today from this flower shop. The flowers were past prime and the tulips are just about to loose their petals. These flowers could not even be sold on the side of the street as seconds! I called the florsit to tell them that they should be embarrased to send these flowers with their name (actually there was no name on the card, so I guess they are not proud of their work and do not want to advertise. I had to ask the driver where they were from. The woman in the shop was so rude to me, and then she hung up on me!!! I called her back to tell her how unprofessional she was. I too had a very bad experience with Cralls. I ordered plants that my mother could plant for mother's day. I was very specific about what I wanted. What was delivered was not what I asked for and only 3 varieties were sent. When I called the shop I was told that 6 varieties were sent. Not true! Do not patronize this place! read more

First when I went there, staff was rude and unhelpful. We Ordered a casket piece for my grandfather, and they sent a hideous, falling apart MESS. I called them from the funeral home and asked them to send a new piece between viewings. They asked if I wanted the piece pulled, and I said ABSOLUTELY NOT, as I didn't want to have an empty casket with my grandfather. They came to the funeral home and had the director pull it against my wishes in the middle of the viewing. Later they sent back a fuller, more organized, piece of crap. They left it on the floor of the funeral home and didn't tell anyone. They caused nothing but distress on an already hard day. read more

I live in Anchorage Alaska and have dealt with Crall's Flower Shop since 2003 when my mother passed away. Each year they have steadfastly contacted me about flowers for her grave on both Mother's Day and her birthday.
