Instead of asking us to help, he immediately threatened to write bad reviews, called us names and used bullying tactics to try to get us to cover a nominal fee. He has come back several times via email to continue harassing us despite us telling him we would not help him anymore due to his harassing and bullying behavior. As a grown man and supposed professional, if he becomes so easily unhinged at something of this nature, going to such extremes, one can only wonder how he would handle the stresses of being an attorney. Mr. Norton is clearly used to trying to strong arm people and behave outrageously to get his way.

This gave us hope that she would get some justice from the unfortunate incident at a big retail store. I entrusted Roeuth Sam because of his knowledge and legal experience. In addition, as a fellow refugee, I assumed Roeuth would understand how difficult it is to seek any sort of justice due to my mom's age and language barrier. I submitted pictures, provided statements and was told that he would request to preserve the video footage of the incident from the retail store. He referred my mom over for treatment and upon completion, I tried to reach out to him. After numerous emails & phone calls, I finally get a response back end of 2020 only because the two-year statute of limitations was almost up and he needed to close out the file. During the email exchange, I was told that there was not enough evidence to proceed with the claim. After questioning whether he was successful in obtaining the video footage as it would be the evidence needed, Roeuth told me that he does not have the video footage and then informed me that he can no longer represent my mom. UNETHICAL! In 2022, my mom was involved in a car accident. Due to my past experience with Roeuth, my sister reached out instead and again he evaluated and took on her case. She provided pictures and the police report from the accident. There was also video footage from the City's street cameras and Roeuth was made aware to preserve and obtain. Again, he referred her for treatment, she completed the treatment and my sister reached out check status. Roeuth's response was that the party's insurance continues to deny liability unless there is evidence (video, witness, etc.) While there is no further evidence, the police report clearly concluded upon their review of the video footage, it captured my mom's vehicle at the intersection on green while the other party accused her of running a red light. This discrepancy can be cleared up by a traffic expert or simply obtaining the actual footage. So again, now in 2024, when questioned about the video footage, the very next day Roeuth Sam sends an email stating "Effective immediately, please be advised that I can no longer represent your mother for this accident. ..." Now having been burned twice by you, I am left with no choice but to share my experience with you on this platform. As an attorney, you hold an ethical obligation zealously to protect and pursue your client's legitimate interests, within the bounds of the law, while maintaining a professional, courteous and civil attitude toward all persons involved. Both times you did absolutely nothing, not even the bare minimum to say the least. You waited until the statute of limitations ran close until we hear from you, only to drop us when questioned about obtaining video footages because you simply cannot uphold your due diligence is unprofessional. Leaving us very little time to find another attorney to take on a case this late is a task that is nearly impossible to do. I work in the legal field myself for over 20 years. I am familiar with ethical obligations and how this operates. I hope you take this review as a learning curve to do better. Until then, I absolutely do not recommend you or your firm to anyone at all nor will I ever refer anyone.
