He also told me that the bank will definitely come after me for the money owed on my property, so I should let them "deal" with the bank on my behalf to negotiate a cash for keys settlement. After forking over $1,500, I was assigned to Ted McCain for future dealings. I paid them in March, and after meeting with him TWICE afterwards and giving them every piece of personal information on me available, they didn't even make a phone call to the bank until MAY. I have documented evidence of this, as they had to email me asking for my SS# (even though I already gave it to them!!) because the bank wouldn't speak to me until they had that. After this ONE phone conversation, Ted told me that there was nothing they could do, and I need to go pay ANOTHER lawyer and file for bankruptcy because the bank will surely sue me. Are you kidding me?? After going to a consultation with another lawyer in a different firm, that lawyer was shocked at the swindling behavior of Boyd Law. He told me that according to GA law, a bank would only have 30 days to confirm a sale and file a suit against me after a foreclosure, and that it NEVER happens. And guess what, he was right! Also, I found out Ted McCain isn't even a lawyer, he's a customer service rep!!! I will be filing a complaint with the GA Bar Association against the Boyd Law Grp! I am not sure how that is even legal, but I was awarded primary custody with another fantastic attorney, despite her efforts. Keep your loved ones away from this corruption. Also if anyone can tell me if this is a violation of the GA State Bar. It has to be.
