Decided to come again after having a good experience the first time but sadly left disappointed. The staff were still super friendly and nice, environment was still clean as before. My server, happily explained the menu and gave some recommendation. I got the Lobster Special with additional clams and mussels at medium spice level. The food this time left me very disappointed. The lobster weren't the best quality, potatoes and corn weren't cooked enough, wasn't spicy at all despite getting medium spice level, and was super oily and salty. Overall, not bad good music (hip/hop) service was slow visited on a Saturday night around 8 and we did have a large party; Once the food started it was not bad, but it did take a while to get things even a drink when we were right next to the bar and there were not many people in the restaurant. When you've been to one crafty crab you been to them all. Surprisingly this location was so similar to the ones I've visited in Maryland. The music was on probably on someone's phones playlist. Lol. They had the college games on all the TVs in the restaurant. The service was really good. They had a weekend happy hour. The seafood came out fast. There was not a wait. I didn't go really late. Well decorated, (although there was still some sprinkling of Christmas decorations), super spacious no frills seafood spot. Came here around 9 with my boyfriend on Friday night. They play hip hop and rnb kind of at a louder level than expected for dining but it wasn't annoying or hard to talk over. There are tvs and a big screen on the back wall which makes it a nice spot for a game. We came for the boiled seafood but also got oysters. Was my first time having steamed oysters and I want them again again again! Prices were to be expected because it's seafood and life is expensive. Service wasn't bad but nothing that stood out. The shrimp and crawfish were very tasty and the portions left nothing to be desired. They are very generous with potatoes and currently have a buy 4 get 1 lb special on crawfish. We went the day after thanksgiving it was pretty rainy, so the place was very chill- but I heard that was unusual and there's usually a line out of the door. I shared the Dungeness Special, with mild boom sauce and it was a perfect portion for . The eggs were slightly over cooked, but the potatoes and corn were soft/tender and they held the boil juices well. The crab was fresh, and huge and the boom sauce was the best I've ever had. I came here on a whim being indecisive for my birthday which was on a Thursday around 7 and it was a great choice. E was our waiter and did a great job. We had a party of 7 and all got boils. My 1lb of snow crab and whole shrimp were Medium in heat with boom spice and were perfect. So perfect we ordered another 1/2 pound. The long island was good and one was enough. Ya girl wasn't trying to be wasted. The music set the entire scene and we jammed all night. There was a small discrepancy with our order that wasn't cleared up. There was no manager available so we couldn't handle it. All in all the food was good and despite the small thing we would come back. UPDATE: we called and spoke to Courtney, a manager, and she told us we could come back and she would settle our balance. Today I ate at Crafty crab and the food was delicious, the crawfish were fresh and so juicy, I had an overall great experience!!!

We walked right in on a Saturday evening. The staff were friendly and very busy... Yet they still found time to greet us with pleasant smiles We arrived with empty tummies and an idea of what we wanted, so by the time our server "E" came by we ordered with confidence!! It took him awhile to bring our drink orders, but we assumed the bar was overwhelmed, so we sipped our water. Hey! Get a bib if you get a boil ... They are juicy and delicious. This was my first visit at crafty crab and I must say I can't wait to return! We ordered the mozzarella bites for our appetizer and they Were PHENOMENAL! It was hot, fresh, and cheesy just as they should be! For my meal I ordered a pound of snow crab and half a pound of boiled shrimp with the head on. The pound of snow crab came with 2 corns and a potato so my meal was very fulfilling. I got the BOOMin flavor in medium which was a mix of the Cajun, butter and lemon pepper spices and it was soo delicious. The lemon pepper added just the right tangy-ness for me so if you're not a fan of that leave it off. Also the medium wasn't very spicy so it was perfect for me. We ordered the pound of Snow Crab Legs, a half dozen Steamed Oysters, and some extra corner (we didn't realize that the order of snow crab already came with corn and sausage, no worries, extra corn is always good). Our waitress also provided us with plenty of crackers and lime for our food. We had the option of getting some spiciness to our food, but decided to play it safe with our stomachs and chose the delicious Buttery Garlic. Once our food arrived, we were under the sea like the Little Mermaid. Oh man! The Oysters came and the were absolute flavorful and delicious. Absolute perfection. I like this place for boiled seafood. The taste is always spot on. The flavor is always the same. The quality of the food is price appropriate. My favorite is the dungeoness crab and scallops. I usually order with a side of sweet potato fries. The service however is sort of hit or miss. I don't eat oysters or mussels and they gladly substitute for additional portions of the other items. I've tried their adult beverages and they pack a nice kick.
