My son and I were attending the Barrett Jackson car auction. The Crackers Restaurant was near our hotel. We ate breakfast there all 4 mornings. The food was outstanding. My son had the meat lovers omelet and loved it. I tried a different breakfast every morning. They all were great. The best thing about Crackers is the service. Everyday the service could not of been better. We will make Cracker our go to place for breakfast when ever we are in the area. read more

This is my favorite breakfast place ever. I get the crab cake eggs Benedict every time for breakfast and it is delicious. Have had Adam as a server multiple times and he is so amazing!! Super fast and just an overall nice person always have a great time coming here. The pumpkin cheesecake pancakes are also to die for but they only have those in the fall I believe. Also the lunch options are amazing too I have gotten the poblano chicken melt and it's so good. Love this place read more

This has got to be my absolute favorite spot. I recently discovered Crackers from a co-worker. Although, he orders from the other location. I found out about this location and decided to go in. It was Easter and they weren't busy. The atmosphere was very peaceful. Enough staff was on hand. We didn't have to wait. I ordered the same as usual. Southwest Skillet with Carnitas. It's sooooooo delicious!!! I haven't had a chance to try anything else cause this skillet is a one, stop, eat. It's a must try for sure. I will be going back into the restaurant. Hopefully make it a every Sunday brunch spot. read more

The food is good. Customer service is very poor! I was with my friends. When the food arrived, they forgot my side of bacon. They brought my bacon. The waitress came over to the table and said to my friend, "that was her side of bacon do you want it?"( The bacon was NOT on a separate plate, it was on her plate with the rest of her food. She was already eating it. ) She said yes. The waitress said" well I will have to charge you for it." We didn't think that was right. The Manager came over to justify why she should pay for it. It was the cooks mistake. He continued to argue with us.(unbelievable) He finally agreed to take it off of her bill. We go there frequently, but we will NEVER go back!! 4th time here. 3 visits have been awesome. This time however a different waitress (zero personality) and a different experience. Ask for sweetener for coffee. Nada. Had to ask for silverware after food was delivered. Had to ask for napkins. No check in on us during our meal. This resulted in a not so delightful experience. We tried this place today and were blown away. Everyone in the staff is helpful and you can see works as a great team. Monica was our waitress and was AMAZING, probably the best customer service we have experienced in a long time. Food was outstanding as well. I met some folks here for brunch today and we enjoyed our meal. I could tell something was bothering the wait staff, but they did a good job pushing through it, provided great service, but it felt little off, maybe a little less-than-friendly or genuine. The food was good. I always order simple breakfasts, so I had 3 scrambled eggs, 2 chicken sausages and a coffee latte. My eggs were a little cool, and the sausage encasing was a bit tough, but it was very tasty. My friends had an omelet and a skillet and finished most of their meals contentedly. The coffee is very nice and I will for sure be back again to try more menu items. Wheelchair / Powerchair access is ok. Getting around tables might prove tight but, there's room for accommodations to be made. read more

Because I have always loved this place I am giving it' a 3 instead of a 1 star for yesterday's experience. Ordered traditional with hamburger patty . They sell steaks...Out of steak sauce both A1 and Worcestershire both available from past visits. Also because of recent past experience of breakfast country potatoes ask specifically extra crunchy "translation cook longer on griddle " usually without asking they had golden a edge w some crunch. Yesterday as recent visit came "snow white" didn't finish soft tasteless as previous recent visit. They now lost a long time loyal customer. Lost there special touch ! :( read more

So good! Tried brunch here on a Saturday morning and were sat almost right away. Their menu is huge- and they serve breakfast all day. First time here. Came in on a Thursday morning. Not too busy, staff perfectly friendly, place was very clean. I ordered the Lobster Omelette. Slightly strong lobster taste and a lot of sauce. Slightly too much for my taste but overall it was good. Wife had Hawaiian Benedict. She at it all with no complaints and a smile. Our little one had French fries which was a bigger serving than we thought, but she overly enjoyed smearing the side of ranch on her face. Kinda odd seeing a lot of chairs lined and stacked on the walls (40+). Maybe for when it gets busy, but just kinda odd yo me to see them out in the open. Crackers is a good, solid offering in the restaurant field close to where I live. Their menu has a great variety of items, and it's a very popular place. If you go, you can be pretty sure you will find an item that appeals to you. The reason I only give them three stars is due to sloppy preparation. On my last visit, I ordered the apple spinach salad. The chicken on top was burned on part of the portion, and the rest was as dry as shoe leather. This would have been a pretty good salad if not for that careless oversight by the kitchen and waitstaff. On my visit one month ago, my son's quesadilla came out burned. We sent that item back to be remade. It's always a major pain when one person in your group can't eat with everyone else. Crackers is a busy place, which means the servers aren't always very attentive. I can forgive this, as you know your server is running around like crazy trying to help everyone. The bottom line is that I think management needs to prevent the kitchen from sending out burned, overcooked items, and maybe hire more servers so they can pay more attention to the tables they have. read more

I must say thank yotu to who ever the Chief was. I was being extra with my order. What's the eggs cooked in what kinda toast. Just everything under the sun extra and to my happiness everything was cooked to my liking so hats off to the chef and to make it worse I was asking for extra plates because I was sharing the meal with my daughter so the server had to put up with me so thank you as well. This sounds funny but it's super hard to really mess up breakfast and they didn't. I feel Bad because I didn't indulge in the fantastic lookin French toast. But when I bring carbs and sugar back into the diet I will fully participate in the devouring of that majestic dish. I have been patronizing Crackers & Co since the late 1980's at their first location near Country Club in Mesa when they had literally 5-6 tables. I happened to be in the area killing time so I thought I would stop in and see what this location had to offer. I love the big patio it was quite lovely to sit outside. Byron was my waiter and he is great! He was so attentive and friendly - I really enjoyed talking to him. The blackberry bread pudding was amazing as I remembered it to be. You must try this dessert! So this is a 2.5 mile roundtrip walk from my mother's place. In two weeks I had breakfast here 4 times. Yes, I'm definitely a fan. The standout is the Cinnamon French Toast, six thick slices of cinnamon bread dipped in vanilla and served with honey butter and maple syrup. I normally prefer savory to sweet but this was wonderfully decadent. Other breakfast items such as eggs, sausage links and bacon were very good. The rancho huevos with pork canitas was delicious and a huge portion. Breakfast and lunch in one sitting. This place gets a good crowd during the week and come weekends it may involve a wait of 10-20 minutes. For the quality of food and price ($7-12) I say it's worth it. read more

Our experience started out really well, and so did our waiter! But then, sadly, our waiter entered my husband's order wrong and then insisted he entered it correctly...so my husband never got his chicken fried steak. And we were very far into our meal before we even got ahold of anyone to ask about it because our waiter was nowhere to be seen. Then, our waiter not only brought the wrong check, but brought someone else's credit card along with it. Turns out he had run that credit card for our bill and had to go back and fix it, which took about 15 minutes. My two year old barely ate any of her $6 chocolate chip pancakes, so we told a busser not to clear it; we wanted a to go box. But our waiter came and took the pancakes quickly without even asking if we wanted a box. So while we waited for the correct check I had to take the two year old outside because two year olds aren't designed to wait that long. I debated about writing a review because I was a waitress, and I know we all have bad days. I think maybe our waiter had been sat a few tables at once, but we were very disappointed that we weren't even offered a to go box for the pancakes we paid for. :( read more

Had a decent breakfast here one Saturday when I was visiting friends that lived in the area. We waited about 10 mins for our party of 5 to be seated in a room towards the back. I ordered the country fried steak biscuits & gravy ($8.99). It wasnt bad. It wasnt great. The country fried steak was on top of a large halved biscuit. The biscuit had good flavor and so did the country fried steak. The gravy that topped it all was decent. Scrambled eggs is what I ordered and it was scattered over the gravy. Weird. No putting ketchup on those eggs now... I love country potatoes but the version that came with this breakfast entree wasnt that great. It lacked flavor and the crunchy end pieces I crave. I slathered it in ketchup and something I rarely ever do, add salt. It was disappointing. This dish also comes with your choice of toast. Nice that they have a variety of fruit jelly on the table to choose from to put on your toast. It beats me having to ask for strawberry jam specifically. Service was also a little slow. Granted they were busy but it took a while for us to get our food after we finally ordered. It was Saturday morning, I get it. But if more than 1 of us at the table is asking why it's taking so long then there is an issue. We are not impatient diners at all. It was just breakfast food. It shouldnt take that long. So in conclusion Crackers & Co. is a decent place to get breakfast or lunch. There were things I liked and there were things I thought could be better. Would I go back & try it again? Yes, I would.
