I hate to be that person, but this has to be hands down THE worst Cracker Barrel I've ever been too. We ordered it once before and it wasn't good, but my thought was maybe because it was a take out order and they just gave us old food. Well fast forward about a year later we decided to dine in, in hopes for a better experience. Honestly, the food might've been worse. The hasbrown casserole was dry, had no flavor, and was cold. The chicken also was flavorless. The pancakes weren't great either. Unfortunately, no one enjoyed their food. The only bright side was there was no wait and the service was quick. But that easy to do when you're serving up old subpar food. We gave it two chances and definitely will not be back. If you're reading this and haven't gotten there yet, do yourself a favor and turn around. The 2.5 stars is very generous.

Enjoying a wonderful breakfast on the first day of the New Year 2026. Good service, nice ambiance, a great start for the New Year!

    Cinnamon rolls

Food- decided to give Cracker Barrel a chance and noticed they had cinnamon rolls available. Thought it wanted to give it a try. This is what I received, burnt cinnamon rolls. Very disappointing.

735 am it myself and 1 other person in the whole dinning room. The place is really peaceful, there is a light that is blinking just to side of my table which is very annoying. My order was taken my food came out and that last time I seen waitress. I got the build your own breakfast ordered to over easy eggs both over cooked. I had the sampler with 1 slice of sausage, country, ham, and bacon. The bacon was so undercooked it wasn't edible. My glass has been empty for most of my meal. I hate that this is my local Cracker Barrel. Do yourself a favor and hit drive thru or go on down the road to next Cracker Barrel

Came in on a Friday around 11:30am to eat. We were sat right away and got a nice table by the window. Alexis was our server. She was amazing and really made the whole dining experience a great one. She was very knowledgeable with the menu, helped us choose our meals and checked on us several times to update us on food status and see if we needed anything. Food was good. Nothing fancy but it filled us up. The biscuits and apple butter were my favorite. So soft and flavorful. I haven't been to Cracker Barrel in ages. With so many local eateries in Charlotte we often avoid chains. My experience here today made me add them back to my list of places to come when I want a hot, filling, inexpensive meal.

The food was bad and Mac and cheese was too dry and the burger tasted burnt and it got worse as you eat it and it had too many vegetables that it could have been a salad.

Unfortunately we have had three recent visits with three separate but undeniably bad experiences. In their defense the management has handled the issues each time with no hesitation or need for us to plead our cause. The star reduction is due to this continuing and also to acknowledge that you should be aware in this pandemic many of the workers are not all in. Our waitress last night told us after being very frustrated that she wasn't feeling well. Wait what ???? Oh my goodness... no words ... She later said two people had quit and she had a headache. I sure hope my complaints didn't add to her headache ! Last night wasn't great. It really wasn't. I ordered meatloaf and it wasn't cooked properly. As a matter of fact it was PINK. I brought it to my servers attention and she immediately got the manager who came and took it away. We got a refund and the manager gave us a dinner on the house but honestly I did want anything after that. We did order a to go meal but later gave it away . We have often given meals to people out begging for help. We left frustrated. So be aware this restaurant has lately been very consistently bad . Three visits three times bad. Hope it gets better.

The new remodel took away from its original charm and the lighting is terrible. Like sitting in an office way too bright.

According to the server, we received a smaller than normal order of pork rinds. Which wasn't that big of a deal because it literally looked like they opened the bag of gas station pork rinds and poured them onto a tray with seasoning. Fries were brought out later, but they were cold. The charcuterie board was good for quantity, but my mouth quickly got tired of the flavors. Everything seemed crazier than it needed to be, and none of the sauces really stood out. In fact, all of them were sweeter than I had expected. Oh yeah, when I ordered a Bud Light with a glass, the glass was dirty. So the food was definitely an under achieving moment. Next, the server was actually nice and the ambience was great. It's a smart looking establishment . But you don't go to a restaurant for the looks, you go for the food and in that regard, I was decidedly underwhelmed.

But it seems we had three large families walked in shortly before us. So the wait staff was stretched thin but the manager and our waitress both apologized for any delay. Once we got seated and our drink orders taken things moved more swiftly. The restaurant itself was nice. Lots of tables and booths also a big bar you can sit at including a large outdoor area. To start we got a sweet tea and I tried one of their spiked milkshakes! The sweet tea was just right and the milkshake was very good. A nice hit of alcohol in it with real chucks of ice cream! As usual for me, I had to try the Chicken and waffle sandwich! There were pieces of bacon in the batter that made the waffle and a large piece of deep fried chicken. The sandwich ate a bit dry so I asked for some syrup to pour over the waffle. It did come with a maple aioli but I just prefer regular syrup. The hand cut fries were thick but hot and fully cooked. Very good! My mom ordered the build your own burger instead of getting one of their many signature burgers. Her meal came thick and stacked and juicy! An amazing looking burger and she loved the onion strings. Next time I go back I think I wanna try The Wanderer burger because it looks very good! We also ordered a burger to go for my dad and our waitress was so good, she put the order in as our meals came out, so when we finished the togo burger came out and it was super hot! Amazing service! Fun place to eat with lots of options! Check it out!

The waitress that came for our service, we realize that the waitress was someone passed by us couple of times already, she didn't greet us or anything. But once she greeted us, it was ok service. It must be someone from management didn't let her know about the table or they are under staff. Another thing I noticed is that while we are eating, the table was not reset properly, it was missing silverware and the customers have to ask for it after their food came out. As a big group that owes many restaurants, they didn't seem to care to reply any reviews on here. Also the staff at the restaurant is not bad, just seems to have issues with communication. It is sad that food was good but service brought it down.

We ordered different temps and they couldn't tell which was which. Wife ordered a salad and for the price, there was barely anything there. Mac and cheese is still the star. Oysters were decent - I expected larger. The half chicken was a generous portion - nice crispy outside but a bit dry inside. I wouldn't order it (I almost did, but my one of our party did). One of our party ordered a stuffed leeks and it was so salty it was inedible. They did fix it and admitted it should have never left the kitchen. By the time the replacement came out it was after 6:05 (and they had to leave at 6:15). So they didn't get to eat their celebratory meal with the rest of us. Not the memory you want for a meal. Desserts were good. Tort was dense - honestly not sure if that's normal. Crème brûlée was very good. For a $400+ experience and our history with Pump House, I expected more.
