As a recent graduate of American Academy of Health and Beauty's 750 Hour - Full Time Day Massage…read moreTherapy Program, it has been an honor and a privilege to be taught and trained by Kerry Mannon, LMT. Kerry's hands-on style of teaching along with her ability to pivot and change her methods to cater to each students individual learning style is something you truly remarkable and noteworthy. She truly is a master of her craft and a gifted healer; her passion for teaching others shines every day. The respect that her former students have for her is a testament to what an amazing person she is inside and out, and how grateful each former student is for not only learning from her but for her continued advice and guidance in their careers. The respect that members of the Massage Community have for Kerry is also evident, as many therapists and businesses seek out students from AAHB that have been taught by Kerry. Kerry is not only a teacher, she is the kind of person who you know truly cares about you and truly cares about you, your career, your ups, downs and wins and losses. In my honest opinion Kerry Mannon, LMT is a National Treasure and I am forever grateful to have met her and been taught by her. I am also thankful and grateful to have been able to be taught by Amber Fraga, LMT, her extensive knowledge of Massage, Health, and Business is astounding and she's not afraid to break your comfort level and help you gain new skills and heal your body and soul, her Sports Therapy techniques are second to none and it's an honor that such a sought after Therapist is willing to teach and share her knowledge to the students of AAHB. She truly cares about each indivdual student and setting you up for success. I am further truly grateful to have been taught by Noelle Dinsmore, LMT, Noelle brings a fresh perspective to the Massage Therapy program, as a graduate of the school herself she truly knows what it takes to successfully navigate the program and have a successful career in Massage Therapy. Her positivity radiates and commands a room and her hands on and visual teaching style along with her real-world experiences is something that's hard to find. I feel that this program has fully prepared me for MBlex testing and for a successful career as a Licensed Massage Therapist. This program and this school and its staff has completely changed my life in the past 7 months. From the moment I contacted the school in October of 2025 and spoke with Zoe, she made me feel valued and that she cared about my time, answering all of my questions and scheduling me to come tour the school at a time that was convenient for me and addressing all of my concerns. I then met Awais,he gave an extremely informative tour of the facility and showed his kindness and compassion and his willingness to assist me with all of my questions, concerns as I navigated changing careers. This school (myself included) is extremely lucky to have such a kind, patient, and caring woman like Galina in thier financial office. I am so grateful for her assistance with everything from scholarships to payment plans to communicating with anyone I needed her to regarding my enrollment in the program. I also need to express my gratitude for Melissa Dinsmore, for her kindness, caring, compassion and business advice. I was able to mock interviews with Missy and her feedback and tips and tricks were exactly what I needed to boost my confidence and realize I was making the right choice changing careers.

She brings her passion for caring for others to a personalized gun safety course. Both Mike and Cory, with their sense of humor, delivered an exceptional firearm safety class. Mike and Cory are extremely passionate about firearm safety, public safety and very knowledgeable about past and current gun laws. Cory ensures that after you take her class you walk out with insight on personal safety, and situational awareness options to protect yourself and loved ones from potential threats. Mike and Cory's class was by far the best firearm safety training I have ever received. I just recently tested for my National Registry Paramedic exam at NHCPR. The experience was the…read morebest I've had so far. I am not new to the field and have tested for the registry 3 times before this test. I tested in the 90's for my basic, had to re-test for it in 2011 and then my AEMT in 2013. All those experiences were good and I've passed every test due to proper preparation. As the tests progress and you test for higher levels the stress keeps building and you don't think you are prepared enough. This time the stakes were super high as my job prospect hinges on the passing of the exam, so I was extremely stressed. NHCPR offers a orientation night and I took advantage of it. I was glad I did because the owner (Believe it was Chris) talked with us and explained the process and tried to ease some of our concerns about the testing process and how they were there for us and not there to fail people, but evaluate and help us succeed. An employee (Believe Jim) took the time to help us out understanding stations and equipment and trying to answer any questions we came up with. The day of testing we were all stressed out and Chris once again took time to speak with us and calm us down and help us get into the testing mind frame we needed. During the test he even brought in lunch for us as it ends up being a long day(not the reason for the review though!). The system they have developed for tracking students and stations is very cool and works seamlessly. I've tested at traditional sites and they don't progress anywhere near as efficient as the system that NHCPR has in place. Now that I have tested with 4 different places I would recommend NHCPR over each other place with no reservations. I met students from many other states while testing, students from Hawaii, NY, PA, MA and Virginia. Each one of the people testing seemed as happy as I was during the testing process. The staff from the owner to the evaluators and even the support staff were all excellent and pleasant to all of us. I'm glad to say I'm now a Paramedic and happy to say I chose NHCPR for my testing site and will continue to recommend them to everyone I know that is testing.

Carolynn provided vital support for us prior to, during, and after the birth of our son. When we first met Carolynn we knew that we wanted her to be our Doula. Both myself and my husband immediately felt comfortable with her and after talking with her for a while we knew that she was very knowledgeable and passionate about pregnancy and child birth. Carolynn was always available by text, e-mail, and phone to answer any questions we had and researched and provided us with any information we needed. We learned a lot during our home visits with Carolynn. During our second home visit we went over different stretches and positioning which was very helpful. When I went into labor, it came on quickly. Carolynn was quick to meet us at our home and helped me stay calm. When we went to the hospital, Carolynn set up a calm environment with dim lighting, LED candles and music. She was an amazing coach to me and an excellent teammate to my husband. My labor was long and Carolynn collaborated well with all of the nurses and midwives that we had. She stayed with us for a few hours after our son was born making sure we were all ok even though we had been at the hospital for about 36 hours with not much sleep. My son had a slight fever after he was born and we had to stay at the hospital for a few days. Carolynn checked in on us often. When we got home I was not feeling well and ended up in the emergency room with a kidney infection while my husband brought our son to his first pediatrician appointment. Carolynn had called to check in on me that morning and stopped by and stayed with me while I was waiting for my father to bring me to the hospital so I was not alone. She even did the dishes while I showered. Carolynn came over for a postpartum visit once I was feeling better and stayed for a long time trying to help our son latch on to breastfeed. While we were not successful during the visit, Carolynn gave me the contact information for a lactation consultant that helped us. If you are considering hiring a doula, I wholeheartedly recommend Carolynn, she is truly amazing!

This University is a complete and utter disappointment. I received my Bachelors degree here and…read morewent on to my Master's here as well, after investing over $100,000 to this "College First" institution I was forced to be dismissed from the graduate program because I had a bad semester due to circumstances out of my control. They were the opposite of understanding, had no care in the world to listen, and instead, destroyed my path to further my education. They claim: "Committed to the faith heritage, intellectual tradition, and social teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, the University educates the whole person in the context of an academic community that cultivates critical thought, sound judgment, and respect for all people. This community supports the intellectual growth of all its members while offering them opportunities for social, cultural, moral, and spiritual development. The challenge to the University community is to search for truth through the dialogue between faith and reason." Which is complete and total BS! They go completely against their mission. Instead, because you have a rough semester they boot you from the program, someone who has been invested in his faith, and community, and spreading the message of Christ. It's okay, because another University can benefit from what I have to offer, and I will continue to do my good will and be sure to advise those I know to never consider Rivier as an option, for I'd be lying to them if I said it's a legitimate way to go. So sad to see where this University has gone, and the lack of care it has at seeing it's students excel, whether your a straight A or straight C student, you deserve an education, but clearly, this isn't the place for it.
