My wife and I came to the store today to look at different CPAP mask options. Victor was so knowledgeable about the Resmed machine and accompanying products. He helped me try on several options and sized me correctly. What I originally purchased from Kaiser was completely wrong for me. He also explained how most of the products on Amazon were knock offs of the original products which made sense as to why the rubber replacement parts I ordered didn't fit my face. After years of frustration with my equipment supplier (Nationwide Medical) I finally decided to do something about it and find a new supplier. I was in the market for a CPAP machine, and Marine and her husband were available and open to helping me learn more about the machine as well as its care and maintenance. Okay, so basically I have slept like crap for years upon years upon years. Only recently did I decide to get tested (after some persistent nudging from my wife) and lo' and behold, I got the sleep apnea. The ap' as I am now calling it. Kaiser got me tested, but the test wasn't covered under my insurance. So no surprise when they ordered me my equipment only to be denied by said insurance. What I ended up doing was try to educate myself online. I bought the exact machine they were going to order for me. But the real hurdle has been the mask. I made a purchase through a website that offered some sweet discounts, but the whole process has become a bit of a nightmare considering they sent me the wrong mask and the new one (which was supposed to come in two days) will now take a week to get here. That's where CPAP Cloud comes in. I had a epiphany today that there has to be some in-person stores in my area I can go to for help. And that's what I did.
