I'm trying to sincerely leave emotion out of this review, but words cannot express how difficult it still is. If I could give them less than one star I would. I know my experience was highly personal so I guess it depends on what you need their services for. If you need some low-bar services that don't require a lot of work or intelligence, I suppose maybe then I'd consider seeking their services. Otherwise, people need to be aware of the "good old boy system" that is Chillicothe. It's who you know, how much money you can fork out, etc. When I hired Dana as my divorce attorney, it was also for custody of my children. Dana failed to disclose to me that he was good friends with my ex husbands father when they were in high school. He was not only biased from onset of taking my case, he failed to represent me in a responsible, respectful manner. It was an unfortunate thing that I was not in a financial situation at the time to seek new representation mid-trial. If I had been in a better situation, I certainly would have found someone more reputable to represent me adequately. I found out from my ex-husband that his attorney and Dana played golf together the day before our divorce trial. Very, very disappointed with his services, lack of professionalism, and lack of overall effort. Not even reliable for ethical advice, and I don't mean that in a good way for the guy who gets in a bar fight or gets a DUI. Probably not worth it for those kinds of charges either, but you get what you pay for (i.e., low-bar services for meh prices).

Never follow up and when they do its because of gossip is this ridiculous tiny town. Bottom line nothing was done in 9 months. Not even a call. I found some one who could communicate and take care of my husband's estate. When word got to them I was told they held important paperwork of mine in an attempt to exploit me for a charge where ZERO was done. I know times seem hard but stealing from widows is disgusting! 2 stars because Michele may possibly be one of the best attorney's you can BUY within the 5-County…read morearea. She's the one you seek out if you want to win, but only when you're truly ready to be price-gouged and offer everything you own in exchange for services. Michele will purposely draw out your case so that she can charge you $3000 each time in between court dates for responding to emails, voicemails...basically whatever they want to charge for. Their staff seems better equipped to take messages and put in charges for communicating than they are at actually passing your communication on to your attorney. A specific example of poor customer service is being charged $50 for Michele's staff to respond rudely to an email I sent, on my husband(their clients), behalf. I merrily cc'd their office on an e-mail that was sent to an involved party of our case and I received the rudest response I've ever had in my life from a business. Paralegals seem to think they have way too much power. I received an email seemingly directly from Michele stating, "I'm not their client. Do not contact them again" after they received ONE email from me in which I merrily cc'd them to pertinent information for my husbands case. I did as they asked and did not correspond with them again. However, I then received 2 more email responses, each different than the last. I could tell that another paralegal was responding, again pretending to be Michele, stating that if we paid all outstanding charges they would respond. Then, the last one, seemingly again coming straight from Michele, asked me to call her office and talk with her directly. If I'm not being clear, I was literally asked in a 24-hour period (3 separate emails) to never contact their office again, then to pay on outstanding charges to receive a response, and then in the third email to call their office for further information. Everything is done last minute as if Michele is the biggest procrastinator ever--she is good at thinking on her feet, but you may be on the failing end if luck isn't running in her favor. If you truly have enough money to seek her services, you have enough money to hire someone from St. Louis or Kansas City who is beyond the good ole boy system and will truly give you what your money is worth. Work smarter, not harder. Look elsewhere.
