I can not thank poplar tree florist enough for decorating the marquee, church and bridal party with bouquets and corsages. One of quite a few garden centres in quite a rural area and I feel this reflects quite often in the stock levels. It never seems to have lot of stock although I can't enter a garden centre without buying something, its compulsive isnt it! There is a lovely cafe and going here is quite a little trip out as it is set in a beautiful location looking towards Roseberry topping. Parking is easy as the centre has its own carpark. All staff generally in garden centres seem very knowledegable about planting, this centre is no exception. Very friendly staff.

Has pet area which is extensive and animals seem well cared for though I always feel a bit uneasy with pet stores.. Store is pretty much accessible by car only but I guess all garde centres tend to be like this. Plenty of free parking and next door is the Badger pub if you work up a thirst

It is of course great for the gardener - everything you need and could want. But there is so much more too - clothes, toys, cosmeics, books, crafts, barbecues, disability aids, pet care and even an aquarium centre with lots of different tropical fish. Then there is a delicatessen with some of my favourite different foods. You can get all sorts of unusual and special foods and you absolutely know they will all be tasty! From frozen French croissants, fresh breads, cakes biscuits to deli meals, cheeses, pies, chocolates and basically everything that you just fancy! Last - but definitely not least!! - the restaurant. It caters for everyone with a huge array of choices available, - coffees and teas, cakes and snacks and even full meals are all displayed very enticingly. Everything I've ever had here has been delicious. Well worth a visit!
