Stopped in here tonight after eyeballing their Instagram feed for a few weeks. I was a little intimidated ordering because they had a lot of options but the employees were very friendly and helpful. I came specifically for the butterfly pea flower milk tea but ended up ordering a second drink for my husband because they had a $10 credit minimum. I ordered him a spring bubble tea with lychee jelly in it and I got the butterfly pea flower milk tea with crystal pearls in it for myself. Both drinks were light and delicious, with very fresh flavors and the toppings complimented our drinks perfectly. I ordered for pick up using grub hub, scheduled for 9 p.m. they waited till 8:56 p.m. to cancel my order while I was parked in-front watching them clean up shop. I was confused on why they would cancel it so I walked up to the window to see if I could still order, but to my surprise I got to watch them scurry behind a door to hide. But as I walked to my car I waited to see if they had updated their status on the app. Then suddenly they walked out of the store and saw me, then quickly walked away with speed to get away from the situation. I came here with some friends because we wanted to try out a new place in Buffalo, let just say I won't be coming back. I asked for a large Thai tea with tapioca with no ice. Keep in mind the cups are already not that big for $6.20 for a milk tea, but fine I was okay to go through with it thinking it's hopefully be good. But then when they gave me my drink it wasn't even filled to the top!? For $6.20 I got maybe 3/4 of a cup for an average Thai tea that wasn't even mixed properly, tapioca was subpar not right consistency and not even semi-sweet . That's absolutely ridiculous. I was looking forward to the opening of Cow Bubble Tea, but after going there it made me hesitate to go back again. I went there on a Saturday with two friends and we ordered the original cow bubble tea, the lychee spring tea, and the special bahn mi. My first issue is that they won't allow us to customize the original because it is pre-made. The pre-made original tea is ultra sweet and leaving a bitter after taste. It seems that the tea has been left there for too long. My friend who drank the lychee tea really believes that the lychee flavor may have came from a can of lychee since the lychee flavor was really faint. My second issue is the pricing. The original costs around $5.25 for a regular without bobas. Bobas cost you $0.75 extra and they also count tax as well. Without the 20% discount it would've cost $6 and more. The original bubble tea was only finished by me, my friend threw her cup outside of Tops after 2 drinks instead of throwing it out in the store to avoid any awkward situations. The Bahn mi was fine, but it is pretty small for the $5 price mark. The wait time was fine. I understand that it is opening week for them, but I really hope that they look at the reviews here with consideration. I will probably won't try it again for a long time. read more
