Covered Care Industries body wash is so soft on my skin. The smell is so relaxing and I can tell that my skin is soaking it up.

I still use Binson's as my sole medical supplier and they continue to deliver amazing customer…read moreservice! I've had to deal with various medical suppliers over the past 20 years, and Binson's is far and away the best... so much so, that I have begun using them for my Dad's needs (I have guardianship of him) too. Any issues, which haven't come up in years, are due to either the doctor's office or insurance company. Seriously, use this company!

The technician that delivered the equipment explained how everything worked. Then it started down hill from there. Last September they changed her medication to Trilogy to help with her breathing and it worked. So I changed the filter on her oxygen concentrator and shortly after that she did not have to use her oxygen equipment anymore. We have called and sent e-mails, left messages and nothing. They sent her an invoice for 5,000.00. She does not want to buy the equipment. We have been trying to return it and that seems to be impossible. This is absolutely the worst company that we have ever dealt with. No communication at all. My advice is go somewhere else where they have good customer service. My wife is battling cancer and she can hardly get around with out help. At this time I still have the equipment sitting in our front room and I am going to try and return it to one of there stores myself and see how that goes John P

I went to PharMor because the Rite Aid down the block didn't carry peak flow meters (a home device used to monitor daily asthma). I knew this place existed and it carried medical supplies. That's how I met Sammi, Chief Pharmacist, of this particular PharMor Pharmacy (which is a Detroit owned independent pharmacy). Let me explain: despite living very close two both a CVS and a Rite Aid BOTH do not seem to have the meds I need in stock all the time. Which is shocking, or ought to be shocking. One day, I ran out of medications and I went down Woodward stopping at nearly every CVS/Rite Aid to get a perscription filled. The closest pharmacy that would consistently have the medications I needed? Yeah, the CVS on 13 mile and Woodward (so, about 13 miles from where I live). And CVS was charging me my first born to fill my scripts (more than $100). Side note: has anyone felt like they only build CVS and Rite Aids anymore? They are everywhere! One one every block, and more coming! I told Sammi this sad story. He looks a little shocked, but asks what meds I needed regularly that I couldn't find in Detroit. I told him and one by one, he shows me that yes, they actually really do carry my meds. I also lamented that I was in between insurances and I couldn't pay out of pocket $100+ despite the fact I needed my prescription refilled. Sammi said no problem, $30. My jaw dropped to the floor, folks. I thought he was totally pulling my leg. Teasing me to come in and get the script refilled by him. Sure enough a day later, and just as broke, I came back to have my prescription filled -- he was true to his word and charged me only $30. I seriously almost cried. I never ever had someone go out of their way at a pharmacy to help me out before. I have never been treated with so much respect from the pharmacy staff. I never thought I would go to an independent pharmacy! *AND* I never thought an independent pharmacy would be cheaper than CVS (it just never occurred to me that different places could charge a different amount for the same drug). The pros of going to PharMor over CVS or Rite Aid: - because of it's independence the pharmacist can and WILL find a way to make your prescriptions affordable - they have a great referral program (refer a friend, get $25 off) - they have almost any med you would need in stock - their generics aren't "crap" generics (there is a debating difference between generic manufacturers) - you are supporting a local business and what I thought was for sure dead: local pharmacies - you won't get told "oh, it'll be 15 minutes" and it ends up being a half an hour -- they will fill it in 10 minutes or less - although not 24 hours, they ARE open on Saturday (open, on a Saturday? In Detroit?! Whoa.) - you can email your pharmacist (just look them up on the website) I'm quite sure Sammi is just as good of a business man as he is a pharmacist -- because I'm hooked. No more long hauls up Woodward just to get my scripts filled. Salvation! There's more than the 1 location that I am writing about, there are quite a few surrounding the DMC -- and several more out in the suburbs: http://mypharmor.com/My_PharMor/Locations.html

I chose this DME provider because they were one of the only authorized providers in the area for Cubby Beds and had positive reviews--though now I question their authenticity. In August, I submitted all required documentation for my son's Cubby Bed, including a detailed letter of medical necessity and prescription for the full system (bed, canopy, mattress, and tech hub). My insurance approved everything quickly and without issue. However, the DME company submitted the order incorrectly as only ONE unit of durable medical equipment. When I called to clarify, I was told it should have been submitted as FOUR separate units. This forced me to go back to my insurance company to correct THEIR mistake, causing unnecessary delays and confusion. After finally getting approval corrected, the bed was delivered--but without the tech hub. When I followed up, I was then told (months later, on December 30) that the tech hub was actually a FIFTH unit that had never been submitted. Again, I had to contact my insurance company myself to fix their error. My insurance approved the additional unit immediately, but because it was approved on December 30 and the company was closed for New Year's, the order was delayed and the tech hub went on backorder. I was assured it would still be delivered and backdated. It is now April, and we still have not received the tech hub. To make matters worse, our insurance has since changed, meaning we will likely never receive it. This is not just an inconvenience--this is a serious safety issue. The tech hub includes monitoring features that are critical for my son, who has epilepsy. This equipment could literally help save his life during a nighttime seizure, and we are without it due to repeated errors and mismanagement by this company. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and repeated mistakes throughout this process are unacceptable. I strongly urge other families to choose a different DME provider. This has been an incredibly frustrating and concerning experience, and no family should have to fight this hard for medically necessary equipment.
