The hotel/casino was very clean, parking ok & security present. It was an overnight trip for me so I didn't get to experience their fine dining at Main+Abbey restaurant, which is open 5-10pm. The other smaller restaurant,Fuel American Grill serves burgers/fries, pizza, salads, hot dogs, ect...it was okay. But if you're eating organic, GMO, ect...then this is not the place for you.If you enjoy gambling there's a casino attached for you to try your luck :) I also enjoyed a small intimate concert that featured Luminare in their Anthem theater, which is 21 and over. The group Luminare is a rock 'n' roll band that puts on a Christmas special every year and people travel all over to see them because they are a PHENOMENAL band. The performance was very magical, mystical, and memorable. I would definitely travel to see their performance again. Their website makes it look amazing and a steal of a deal but I've stayed in Best Westerns that seemed cleaner. The pool was down for a little bit while we were there (maintenance so it wasn't their fault). Our room was clean at first glance but had some dirty sports. Weird stain on the wall inside the door, some short little hairs in the shower. Very convenient and worth a stay if in town for business or pleasure. Hotel staff was very kind.

We were told on Friday upon arrival the pool would be fixed by Monday however this was not true. When Monday arrived guest services said the pool wouldn't be fixed any time soon. Maybe I would stay again but not for a while due to lack of amenities. Breakfast was served, beautiful yard out back, very good location. Close to the carnival and the casino. They also allow pets. Call to check if things are working in order before staying.

She checked me in right away and gave me a room on the second floor. The first thing I noticed when walking in was there was a smell of maple syrup in the air, and it was throughout the room. After a while I didn't notice the smell anymore, but when I left for dinner and came back, I smelled it again. It wasn't offensive, just weird. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was also clean, but didn't have any shampoo or conditioner, only (2) bars of soap, (2) make-up removers and lotion. This room has an in-room coffee maker and was stocked with coffees and teas and all the things you need in the morning. Overall, this is a nice hotel, and I would stay here again.

When we moved the chair in the room to sit by the window we found a discarded pair of underwear behind it. Otherwise the room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the A/C wasn't too loud. Even though we set the temperature, the A/C unit did it's own thing changing the temp. At one point in the night it dropped to 70 and it was set at 74 so we woke up very cold. But it was 75 and hot when we woke up in the morning. Front desk staff were efficient. I was disappointed that the M Club only served breakfast until 9am on a Sunday. It would have been nice to have it until 9:30am.

It was a chophouse. Uber support to SUX was not available because had to cross state line Taxi services available. Mine was not the greatest. The airport shuttle was not available until well after my morning flight time. I would recommend getting a hotel in the Iowa side of Sioux City and it would probably be more convenient in many ways This apparently has a conference center so if you are going there for a conference, you should be ready to drive to a restaurant. Pretty much concrete highway on one side and the back of a warehouse on the other. The hotel shares a parking lot with run down liquor store and a drive through coffee business. After you check in you have to proceed through a series of halls and doors until you find the elevators. Crazy layout! The rooms and bathrooms are small and the toilet is tiny... almost little person size! And the toilet paper is literally jammed between the tank and the sink... no fu*#way that a normal sized person could possibly reach the roll behind then, much less get it to unroll. Here's how it gets an extra star (from one to two): the rooms have been updated (at least attempted). Updated TV, comfortable bed and some extra outlets. The pool is nice too. The pool was closed. It is a pet friendly hotel. The rooms are clean and the floors are wood laminate. Comfy beds and plenty of pillows. There is a microwave, fridge, blow dryer and iron in the room. Fresh coffee by the main desk. There is an expanded hot and cold breakfast that they ask you to make and take back to your room for Covid protection. When we went down they had not restocked the breakfast area so several items missing. The fan provides good white noise. This is an okay one night stay for the rate.
