I travel every week and stay in 2 different Marriott properties every single week all around the country- almost always courtyards or residence inns. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a Marriott property. Allow me to explain- I get in late and stand at the front desk waiting to be helped. I can see in the back room the front desk attendant sitting in a rolling chair watching something on his phone. It's audible all the way out at the desk. I say "hello excuse me" trying to get his attention. No response. Completely ignored me till his break or video or whatever was over then came and checked me in. He gave me room 107. Be ware of 107. What a train wreck of a room. I walk in and am overwhelmed with the smell of bathroom mildew. Like clothes that have been left in the washer for a week kind of stench. Turn on the lights and they flicker like a horror movie for far too long before actually turning on. I set down my stuff and walk around to the bed when I see a massive jet soaker tub IN THE ROOM. NOT IN THE BATHROOM. IN THE ROOM. I know what you're thinking- this is a welcome and luxurious amenity the likes of which you'd usually only experience at a four seasons or something. Yeah no. It was disgusting. Caulking all around it was like rotted out brown- the tub was gross. It smelled to high heaven. It was super off putting and creepy and gross. Why would a business travel hotel have such a "feature"?! This gave the room major... escort vibes. It was so gross. To make matters worse, the room was on the first floor so of course, being a courtyard, it has a sliding door to the outside. That said, it's on the outside part of the hotel- not facing inn towards the courtyard. The slider looked out directly to the parking lot behind the hotel. When I came in at 1 o'clock in the morning, the sliding door to this creepy gross room was UNLOCKED. also the security lock of the front door was all bent out of shap and pretty much ineffective. 0/5 wouldn't tell my worst enemy to stay here.

The lightest weights they had were 20's, then 25, and then I think it jumped to 40s? They had towels and water in a corner. Breakfast service was decent, but when they say 10, they mean 10. At 9:58 they were cleaning up and I was a little afraid as I went for a boiled egg. They do play music in the lobby/business area, so be mindful of that. My comforter and sheets were super wrinkly. They seemed clean, but also seemed like they may have just been thrown back over the bed? Not entirely sure on that one, just an observation.

The location plus our Marriott Bonvoy points is why we often choose this hotel. The price is right and it has everything you need, but it's really no frills. It has a breakfast room, pool and great staff. The star staff member this time in particular -Justin! There is some type of construction going on and many parking spaces were sacrificed. No available parking for weary travelers post midnight?! Nooooo! However, Justin makes problems disappear even after midnight. Thanks!! They are welcoming to our well trained (LEGIT) service animal, so kudos for that. Rooms are adequate, but nothing more. If you want luxury, you don't come here. Otherwise, it definitely gets the job done. Staff saves it here. Three stars, where it would have been two. Sadly tonight on a busy Mother's Day evening, we just wanted to chill with a simple later evening snack and watch a movie in room. The TV wouldn't connect, so we called down to the desk. NO ANSWER!? Ugh. Also, midday, our keys inexplicably didn't work! Had to go back down and get two new keys. Why?!? All else said, this is a fine mid range lodging for a few days, but nothing special at all. Thanks for following me, happy Spring 2026!

I booked for one night since I would be at the (almost) end of driving after a long-distance move…read moreand thought this would be a good way to sleep so I could wake up early and get the last 120 miles of the trip in. I stay - on average - 20-25 nights per year at Residence Inns and am rarely disappointed, but this was really exceptional in terms of bad: I originally thought I would arrive around 9pm, but called around dinnertime to say I would still be there but it might be closer to 11pm (this was actually the most pleasant interaction as the woman who answered the phone was very nice). My 325 mile trip wound up taking almost 10.5 hours, so you can imagine how tired I was when I arrived at the hotel just before 2am, right? Unfortunately for me, the night auditor doesn't understand much. First he asked if I had a reservation? I cannot stand that question, isn't it obvious at 2am on a weekday, I'm tired and have luggage?? Then he told me all about the "no party" policy and had me read/sign a consent form (I just signed, I have no idea what it said). Then he gave me a key and said I was all set, but I told him I couldn't be because I needed to give him my new credit card. He INSISTED that the credit card was in the reservation; well, technically "A" credit card was in the reservation, but that was connected to my Marriott profile and had been in there for years. Someone stole my card a few weeks prior, so there was absolutely no way that card would authorize for the stay. He insisted it would. I insisted it wouldn't. Was the room any better?? No, it smelled as though I was the first person to be in there in months - an odd combination of mildew and some random odor - which was less than desirable but I was tired and couldn't imagine dealing with the night auditor again. The bed was awful - no idea how old the mattress was, but it was definitely lumpy and everytime I moved the slightest bit, it creaked. Thank God I was on the first floor otherwise the people below me would have thought it was a wild party in that bedroom. The icing on the cake was the bathroom (pictures attached), see that gross tub and wall/floor behind the toilet? Maybe housekeeping thinks no one will notice, but how could anyone NOT notice?? And all of the dirt/dust on the closet door tracks?? Gross. I left at 8am, thrilled to have had almost no sleep and a nasty shower but so glad to be gone! Unfortunately I did not receive a survey from Marriott 48 hours later, and when I emailed Jim Marcil (the GM) directly, he never replied. NEVER. REPLIED. He is also the GM of the Courtyard across the street, so I have crossed that off my list and you should as well.

The 3 stars are because of the front desk. We got there at around 10:30 in the morning, got us 2 bedroom suite which we needed , got us in the room as soon as possible, and allowed us to bring our 2 cats. Saying all that I would never stay there again. The tv in living room did not work, the thermostat in living room did not work, no hot water from shower, and very weak water pressure. Also the elevator kept trapping us inside, and the hallways were disgusting with trash. The final thing I hated was the breakfast so called hot food was not up to proper temperature.
