I told the supervisor @ County tree that I wanted the ficus tree trimmed/pruned way back !!! They trimmed the tree partially, not what I told him to do !! DO NOT USE COUNTY TREE AND PROPERTY RENOVATION. The owner Frank over promised and under delivered on the entire project. A 2-3 day project according to Frank took over 6 weeks to complete. With me having to call Frank every day to confirm when he would be back to complete the project. He guaranteed his work and said he would address any issues I had once complete and now will not return any calls or text messages I send him. All the grass he laid down died, several of the trees and flowers planted died and I have to re-sod and plant each of those areas. Unprofessional, unreliable and unnecessary headache, stress and cost throughout the entire project. The promptly removed 2 dead palm, a bush with termites, and trimmed a large clustered palm. BUT the owner, Frank took a $1200. Deposit to put in some replacement palms and flowering tree and bushes. He did NOT CLEARLY OUTLINE allow the steps we and he needed to pursue prior to the installation. He RARELY RETURNED CALL, despite repeated messages. Things dragged on interminable. When my husband had a medical emergency and we had to go north, he promised a refund since the project could not be done. He then NEVER RETURNED CALLS, NEVER RETURNED OUR MONEY, AND NEVER ANSWERED THE PHONE. read more

The first thing I noticed about Frank and County Tree and renovation is that they actually answer the phone and return calls. When Frank told me that when they would show up for my job, I wondered if they really would show up on time. The crew lead by Mike worked incredibly hard in this brutal summer heat. They never complained and stayed several hours until the job was completed. They also cleaned up completely when they were through. They charged my neighbor 1800.00 to take a tree down. They never completed the paperwork while we waited for months. The last call was he couldn't deal with our HOA and would give us the money back. In the interim we dealt with another company who was cheaper and the tree is down. They were prepared with all the paperwork necessary for the HOA and everything got done quickly. The mailbox is full and they never returned the money we now have to report them to the attorney general's office and start a lawsuit. read more

These guys did an amazing job, they were very punctual and worked all day until the job was done. We had a dying tree that needed to come down that was over hanging our house, We were nervous about it as it could do some serious damage to the roof and AC unit if it wasn't cut down properly. These guys put us at ease! and did an amazing job of cleaning up afterwards. They also tidied up 5 palm trees we had in the back too. Called me 4 times in one day. Im a busy working mom and was intending on calling back later. He didn't try to leave a message, text or email. After the 4th call, I stepped out of the office to tell him I'd call back later this afternoon. I mentioned that I didn't appreciate 4 phone calls before 1pm and he hung up on me. I'd say this company is extremely unprofessional and lacks knowledge of gaining clients. Not sure how their tree trimming/cutting is but I won't be sticking around to find out. read more

Frank, who I did all my business with did not come back to complete several agreed upon jobs around our yard. My husband paid Frank over $10k in advance for work we believed and trusted Frank would do for us. I sent numerous text messages to his phone asking when he and his helpers would return to complete the jobs left undone and only half done. It has now been over one YEAR since Frank promised he would do the work. We have lost a LOT of money trusting this man. Do NOT end up letting this happen to you. I`m very unhappy with the company. the boss told me that he will remove the branches from my property after cutting the trees. he was paid before the work was done. FIVE days later the branches are still on my front lawn KILLING the grass. I contacted him several times explaining the problems with HOA , etc. he hang up on me . I`m old and can NOT move the wood . Stay clear. Don't let the "veteran owned" thing fool you. Lying, price gouging, poor quality work. Wife lies for him. Took my money and disappeared for 3 months. Didn't finish anything as discussed, Size of plants that finally arrived were half the size that was discussed and agreed upon. Did I mention PRICED GOUGING!!! Constantly promising that he would return to begin my job, but another month would pass. I would call him and listen to his lies and promises, and another month would go by. Several times he called and said he was on his way with my palm trees.....but they never showed up. This man is a lying thief who takes advantage of his customers, while providing horrible labor and customer service. Stay clear. I was provided with cheap very small plants, instead of the size we discussed. Job was not completed as per our agreement and he is demanding more money. Frank promptly came out, was very careful to understand the problems with some huge trees and clearly let me know his company could fulfill my expectations. I was not disappointed. In fact, the crew and work done on some very large trees, and, in one case, a very difficult tree which was hard to access, exceeded my expectations. They made sure I was satisfied, were very efficient and professional, and so easy to work with. Further, the clean up and haul away was superb, which is often lacking in terms of some companies. He gave a $4000 quote, said it would take 3 days and he could start work Thursday or Friday the following week and that they would work on Saturday as well. Great. We decided to hire him even though he didn't give a written estimate (we should have known better) and we canceled the other companies who were going to come to give estimates. I called Frank on the Monday and told him I was going to email him a rundown of the estimate and scope of work we had agreed to. I asked him to reply back with his full name and a statement that the estimate was correct. He agreed to do this and that he would call me on either Tuesday or Wednesday to let me know when they would be starting. I never heard from him again. I phoned him several times and left messages. No response. Nothing. Big waste of our time and a huge disappointment. read more
