I was shopping and came across some burlap curtains and thought I would order something similar. This website came up in the search so I ordered with them. I had ordered a bedspread, and it was pictured with pillow shams and pillows online, so I presume that if I ordered a king size, it would come with at least two shams, it did not. And it was a real scavenger hunt to find them on the website to be able to order them after the fact. going back to the curtains, when they arrived, they appeared to be more of like a graham cracker color instead of a genuine, or burlap look. I promptly packaged the items, and looked online to see where I needed to return them. I contacted via email and tried to call by but couldn't reach anybody and so I returned them to where I thought they needed to be returned. I waited, and waited, and I never saw the credit of almost $100 back to my account so I started trying to contact them again, which is very difficult to do. I received an email back today stating that I had sent them to, not to the store in Wisconsin, and because of that they had sent me an email stating that back in September, which I never did receive, and that since they didn't reach me, they disposed of the curtains. So now I'm $100 plus shipping, and the curtains I love the bedspread I received from them, I would not recommend buying from this website or store for the reasons mentioned in this review. read more

I ordered an item, and the color did not work for me. I returned the item, and never received the credit back. I contacted Country Village Shoppe, and they requested that I provide a tracking number, that stated my item was delivered. I sent the information right away. After two more e-mail attempts requesting my refund, I called and was told that they never received the return, ( which the tracking clearly states that they did), and to file a claim with the post office. That is poor customer service. I will take this as a lesson, to never order from them again. read more

I viewed their online catalog for some time. Iwas having trouble finding the kitchen curtains I working for. I noted several of the curtains in their catalog had a statement delayed shipping, but the ones I decided on did not. I read their blog and was impressed with their desired to to provided exceptional customer service to treat their customers as they would want to be treated. This was on the 5th of November. On the 7th I recieved an email stating my order would not ship till the end of the month. I responded why?you're website said three to five days. Their response was and I quote "we sent you an email your order will be processed at the end of the month. " Red flag but I checked my bank and the money had already been taken out of my account so I decided to be patient and I started calling yesterday Dec 1st. No one answered the phone -all day. Today I again started calling left a voice mail and a comment on the website. I finally recieved a call. I was told that they were waiting on a shipment. I stated that when I ordered the product didn't mention any delays as did other products so I ordered in good faith that the product was in stock. When I originally asked why the delay I recieved a very snarky we sent you an email your order will be sent at the end of the month. I've also since checked the website and still no mention of this item being out of stock.. I asked about that and was told it wasn't their responsibility to update the site but that of the manufacturer.. This is definitely not how I want to be treated as a customer. I asked for a refund. I ordered some curtains from this company and when they were received the color looked different than it appeared On their website. There were no return instructions on the invoice so I went to their website and clicked on returns. Apparently I should have read their return policy before I place my order. They offer free shipping on curtains however if you return more than 50% of them you have to pay for the original shipping plus the return shipping. They also charge restocking fees for some of their other items. Absolutely ridiculous. I will not be shopping there again. It should be noted when ordering to That the buyer should read the return policy since it is out of the ordinary. read more

WARNING: The free shipping is not truly fee shipping. I ordered 3 kitchen valences for a total of $119.85 which qualified for free shipping. Unfortunately, the valences appeared differently than the website view and I did not want to use them in my kitchen. I returned them for a cost of $11.75 thru USPS. Country Village charged $8.95 for the original shipping so I only received a refund of $110.95. So, it cost me $20.70 for no valences! Be sure to check the return policy on their website as they will charge you for the original shipping if you return more than 50% of your order. Of course, I would not be keeping any of them. A ridiculous policy! No wonder people are using Amazon for online ordering. Their policy makes sense. read more

If you love country décor that is chic and lovely, this place will put you on overload. It is beautiful from the moment you walk in the door. Inside you will find many little "rooms" housing different styles of country, from primitive to country chic. LOVELY. I purchases some oils to diffuse and they are wonderful. I also purchase some other item. When the staff found out that I live in FL they gave me info on their website and informed me that they ship from the store. Very helpful, very friendly but not intrusive. This is a hidden gem on Mall Drive. Go there now! read more
