The building housing the Antique Mall in "downtown" Union City (Columbia Street) is known as the "old Kirshbaum building." For those who crave a dose of nostalgia, it's like stepping in to a time capsule with the tin ceilings, old glass cases and beautiful wide, carpeted stairway. I most often turn to the Mall when I'm looking for something in particular, for instance, my white 1950s wooden dining room table or skeleton keys I once used to make earrings. However, if I just want to have a good hour of moseying fun, my legs will take me in. The sad thing, in my opinion, is that my neighbors and fellow Union City-ans don't realize how lucky we are to have this beautiful business in our town. I more often hear of people turning to Target and WalMart for their furniture than buying something that not only has character, but is equally as cheap (not to mention the reduce, reuse, recycle aspect;). Grateful to have this charming and beautiful business in my hometown - I highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

Great creative and find something here to add to your home. With a little creative construction ( like my wife has ) you can really come up with a unique addition to your home furnishing and decor. We like going to these places and saving items that can be re-purposed and given a new life. Sandy also likes to find old costume jewelry at these Antique Malls. She has salvaged many a necklace, ring and ear rings from these places. I once found a rather unique wind type men's watches in this place. Nothing like going old style. No batteries to worry about and the watch is still running and on time. Next time you want to find something unique and have a good time looking for it go over to Union City Antique Mall and check it out.

Finally, I found this place. The store has great parking out front. The aisles are large and easy to navigate. There are so many different types of dealers that everyone is sure to find a treasure. I was looking for furniture. Not only did I find exactly what I was looking for, but the prices were extremely affordable for the quality represented. I found several accent tables and nightstands. I even found a lovely small sideboard that was solid wood. I also found a great set of nesting tables for $59.99. I was amazed since I have bought a set at wholesale price in the past and paid close to $150 for them. Darion was super knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. As said, I purchased a number of larger pieces and wanted to fit them all into my vehicle. Darion took the time to help me load them and reload them in my car until we were able to fit most of them in. She was willing to keep trying different ways to get it all in. She definitely went above and beyond. Without her help I would have had to get someone to come help me load my car since the pieces were too bulky and heavy to do it alone. She was AMAZING!!!!!! I look forward to coming in on a regular basis since these types of stores have constantly revolving stock. If you see something you like, buy it, because it will be gone the next time you come in.

We received a friendly greeting as we walked in and had a lot of fun looking through the very well stocked store. We had limited time so we only made one pass through but I'm sure we missed lots of goodies. It's one of those stores that requires several passes to take everything in. They aren't a large shop, especially compared to some other "antique" places that are more flea market than vintage and antique. But I was pleased that these items were more appealing without having to spend a lot of time sorting through endless booths. I was greeted as I entered and had no difficulty finding free street parking nearby. Note that the prices here aren't the cheapest either. But I attribute that to the pieces being of solid quality and having to cover the cost of running a shop in the downtown area. They have rubber stamps, scrapbooking papers, dies for die cutting machines, and miscellaneous craft supplies like acrylic paint. So it is worth a visit and the other booths have many different items like home decor, antiques, vintage items, and who knows what else depending on the vendor. Prices are in line with other flea markets in the area. The cashiers are always friendly and I have not ever had any issues with anybody that worked there.
