I had a corn beef breakfast. It was delicious and cooked just the way I liked it. Crispy corn beef and crispy hash browns! Service was friendly and Bathroom was clean,. I would come again, but asked to be seated in the front room next time. The back room was very noisy

Chocolate pancake with a side of peanut butter - do it

Ever find that place you want to go to almost every week or multiple times a week to get the same 2 dishes? This is that spot for locals and travelers alike. Right off of 101, it is a no fuss joint, full of wonderful speedy staff, who take pride in bringing you that breakfast or lunch that meets your expectations. Try their chocolate pancakes with a side of peanut butter - it'll give you that food hug you were longing for.

Simple but delish, I tried the biscuits and gravy. Their green salsa was amazing(not pictured).

Just a little restaurant off the 101 in Prunedale. Inexpensive but doable. I would recommend trying. Dogs are allowed to sit at or on the counter, so there's that. But nice family and friendly place. Wait staff is very friendly and personable. The inside looks like a barn and to me it's Kool cause that's where I grew up. They even have a hen roosting in the rafters! And a real barn door in the back! Kool place..

I got food poisoning both times I ate there. First time could be a fluke as I have a sensitive system. Nope. Not going back.

I like corned beef hash from time to time, and ordered it from Stevie's this morning without being…read moresure what theirs would be like. It's impossible to ruin hash totally but at so many restaurants you get your eggs on top of an overly salty cake of meat and potatoes that might well have come out of a freezer. Not at Stevie's. To my delight the over-easy eggs (perfectly cooked by the way) were on top of freshly made potatoes and meat, with really fresh-tasting onions and a touch of other vegetables. Replete with flavor and not salted too much. I'd be prepared to say this is the best corned beef hash I've ever had (and at age 69 I am no spring chicken) and well worth the trip.

It was a good amount of egg and chorizo but not nearly enough cheese. The salsa was homemade and spicy - definitely made a statement! My husband had the chorizo scrambled eggs with house potatoes. Both the eggs and potatoes were great. The staff were friendly and helpful - yes, even "the daughter" previously criticized by other reviewers started badly, but then transformed into a very warm person. It's not a place you come to for atmosphere, but for good food it works and the staff clearly work hard. One caveat, the women's restroom needs some work.

The trip was completely spontaneous since we had been in Big Sur earlier that day, but it ended up being well worth the drive. I never would've expected this market to be tucked away at the end of a residential street, but once you get close, you can smell the food before you even arrive. The sandwich was incredible...huge enough that we had to share it. The meat was so juicy it was literally dripping down my fingers, and I made an absolute mess eating it. I would definitely return. It truly feels like a hidden hole-in-the-wall spot run by hardworking, down-to-earth people. The owner was personable, engaged in friendly banter, and made the experience even better. Plenty of locals stopped by during our lunch, and what really stood out was that he even remembered my friend despite him not having lived in the area for the past three years.

The soup of the day was split pea, I've never had a better one! With chunks of ham and vegetables, it was the perfect amuse-bouche! Next comes the Tri-tip sandwich! Tender, juicy and full of flavor! Last but never least, the ribs! Tender, fall off the bone, smoky! We got the full rack for four of us, we each took home ribs for the family! We stopped here on our road trip and I suggest it to anyone looking for a lunch stop! Will be singing Martin's praise for years to come!

Don't be fooled by the Sliders' presence on the printed menu or the whiteboard menu or on the Phil's Fish Market website, you will be denied with no explanation for the absence of their deliciousness. This time I tried the battered sole sandwich which was perfectly fried but unfortunately very bland. This dish comes with your choice of slaw or fries on the side: unless you are really into slaw, order the fries as the fish comes with a slaw-adjacent topping. Be advised that this sorta-slaw also contains thinly sliced fresh jalapeños, which I like but might take someone unaware. The Bloody Mary was good, as always. I really wish Phil's would improve the non-alcohol drink ordering process: to purchase a soda requires one order at the same counter as placing food orders. That's fine if you order a soda while ordering your meal however if you decide halfway through that you want to switch from Bloody Marys to a Coke, it's back to the end of the long food line for you.
