My move in day, I told him I was coming up from DC and will be there after 5. On that day when I texted him I'm driving up 2hrs away, he tells me there's no one to give me the keys and I would either have to cancel my lease or move in the next day (have to work at 9am, how will I move in driving down from dc then go to to work?). While living there, I happen to lock myself out of my apartment complex and he had given us the caretakers number Paul to call when we have emergencies or are locked out and they'll charge you a fee. I was ready to pay the fee. I call Mike and he tells me Paul doesn't work on Sundays due to religious reasons; umm so does your company have anyone else on staff that works sundays for emergencies? No. He told me to call a locksmith and have them let me into my apartment. So I did. They had to break the locks. Now when I'm moving out; I didn't want to trash all my furniture so I asked Mike to sell it to his next tenant and we split the money. He said yes. Well when I got my security deposit back, Mike charged me for leaving "dirt" in the apartment which will be the furniture he sold that I gave him to sell, he charged me for the lock the locksmith broke and I asked him to come open the door for a fine but of course no one in his company works Sunday. The whole year living in this building it was always a yelling match when I call Mike because he just always wanted a reason to talk to the black kid like I was retarded. No sir some black people are actually wealthy, come from wealth and maintained it. If you're black, do not rent with these people. If you're white, I guess he'll treat you like his kind.
