The covered carpark just makes it that much easier when you need to shop during the winter months when we all know how windy and rainy and just horrible Auckland weather can be. But this Pak n Save is great as it has a lovely covered carpark. The supermarket itself is actually also pretty new and therefore has a really good layout, wide aisles and lots of check out lanes so makes for stress free supermarket shopping apart from the packing at the end, but the prices are worth it.

This used to be my favourite supermarket but lately it has gone a bit downhill. Their meat - I…read moredon't know how they store it but with these new recycling packs the meat smells horrible after a day in the fridge if kept in those recycling packs and we have a very good fridge. Their Fresh Fruit and Vegetables is not really that nice they don't have the best looking produce and quite often ill buy their onions and the middle of them are rotten and green possibly because they use the sacks of onions and just tip them into their bin. They have changed the layout again and to be honest its so difficult to find things at the moment but the extra space is nice, their variety section seems to have disappeared which is a shame as there was good stuff in there. Their product range is limited these days and I find myself doing my main shop here but my meat and veges and other products shopping at Countdown or New World. They have baskets now which is great but I'm forever having to go to the checkout aisle to get a basket as they don't bring them back as often. And the self Checkouts are great but quite often the machines need assistance from the staff - who more often then not are busy gossiping about their lives and not paying to much attention to what is going on and missing the trolleys full of more than 20 items at the self checkouts. I will continue to shop here but I hope it gets better again like it used to.

It's that kind of place. It's kind of like my dream of what every supermarket would be. Small but still with plenty in it, limited ranges but all the nicest brands are there, hard-to-find ingredients and quality stock, and a little bit of everything and not too much of anything. In case you hadn't already gathered, I really like shopping at Eden Foods. It's a friendly, quiet little shop that's extremely popular with locals to the area. The prices are perhaps slightly higher than a big warehouse-type supermarket, but a lot of the time that's because they're selling more niche, local brands. Which is great.

The location is a good one right in the heart of St Helier's where I'm sure the elderly of the area really take advantage of this gem. Mainly I see young people and families in here buying ice creams, picking up bread or one of their infamous almond croissants which are kept at the counter. Eden foods also has a super good range of quality items. It's bigger than your typical dairy and had all of the good stuff on hand. The staff here are courteous and kind.

New store has been there for some months and have been following these guys on Instagram so was good to see what they had on offer . There are a few options and I went for the cinnamon , cashew , cocao and their own blend of egg protein . Was an ok choice , there is a strawberry number and I wished I'd gone for that . But you can't have it all ! I know the shop is newish but I felt the decor was lacking a bit , although I'm glad it wasn't all white Unitarian theme . With specially made crate/ pallet tables and Flight coffee it seems a happy space to catch up .

They were previously on Campbell Road but have now relocated to the Maskell Shops in St Heliers. I was greeted by the lovely Belinda and severed a nice hot Kokako Organic Coffee filter coffee which has a bulletproof option to enjoy with one of their divine Blondie Protein Bars! You can't beat dunking a brownie in a nice hot coffee you should really try it. Belinda also offered me one amazing truffle ball that just melted in my mouth! All their products are paleo and have none of those refined sugars This is one chilled out cafe decked out with cool The Pallet Kingdom tables to enjoy your coffee and food at. Welcome to the neighbourhood you are a very welcome addition
