Ok so I've never actually been in, but I walk past most days and can't help not staring at the beautiful jewellery, I mean it's just gorgeous! It is expensive and I do think rather intimidating, they have a door man, ok so I'm easily intimidated! But for someone with the money... They even have a 6000 litre marine aquarium surrounded by a champagne bar, seriously if exuberance had a shop I think it would be called Cottrills, but lets face it that's the atmosphere they're trying to create. read more

Swanky and ostentatious but the service is excellent, possibly because I was always the sole shopper. You get the impression that it's by invitation only, from the front. Every visit I've made to this shop has left me feeling a bit insignificant but it was also enjoyable. Even the doorman is impeccable, as if trained by the 'Royal School of Excellent Doormen', and probably ex SAS. This place is not for us mere mortals. Shop there if you like to be treated like a king and are willing to pay kingly prices. Worth a visit though, if only to see the undersea world and gasp at the prices of the finest jewelry. read more
