Aside from the constant drama, the inability to do anything without her "shadow" buddy, who followed her like a puppy but did nothing, she took $500 from me to go get doors and knobs and disappeared without responding to numerous texts and emails for a week. We had to hire an alternative handyman to redo the few things she had attempted which set the project back more than a week. Lee High and his team did such a fantastic job! Our small backyard was made up of a mix of old…read morepavers, a small concrete slab and a rotting deck. It was so much unusable space for such a small patio area. And in the front our driveway was sinking and there was a weird step up to the main door that was at an angle and a safety hazard. So after we demoed the backyard ourselves we hired Lee to lay down stamped stained concrete over the entire backyard (wrapping around the side), new concrete steps up to the back door, replace the driveway in the front and fix the front door step. When we pulled up the back deck to our surprise, we also found out there was an old severely sloping drainage grate under it. Lee leveled everything so that it would drain into this hole more gently so that the whole area was flat and usable and then installed a fresh smaller box. He took the time to think through how to work out our irrigation under the concrete and how the concrete would come up to the fence. They also pulled the bush in the front and the small old concrete slab in the back for us. On top of all the careful detail on the texture and saw lines, Lee's team went above and beyond and got the job done in about a week! We really couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. It is now beautiful, functional space.
