Just beware if you happen to get talked into changing your internet service from the Lumen Century Link vendor. Dishonest at its best. Surprising that Costco allows these folks to sell in their store. Sort of leaves a bad taste for Costco. The rep lied to us about providing a Lifetime Price lock of $45 a month if we switched from TDS to them. So we did. But, it wasn't true. Two days before our install date I double checked our confirmation receipt. It showed nothing of the sort. It actually showed that there could be price increases. Thus, we called and cancelled the install and are waiting for a credit for the first months charge on our Costco card. Hope to see this sales rep again when I'm in there. This review is for the Costco gas islands only. I have stopped here several times when in St. George and it's and easy on/off the freeway. Generally, there has been no line which endears me to the location and it's a few pennies less than thew cheapest gas in the area. It's handy if you're going to or coming back from Zion and you want to fill up but not at the prices charged by the stations adjoining the freeway. read more

St George Costco has an amazing staff and top notch customer service. I have been shopping here for 4 years in all departments and have never had anything less than 5 star service. Coming from the LA area, I know what a "busy" Costco looks like....this one is never busy. If there are more than 4 people in line, that would be extremely rare. (Busy at CA Costco's have lines back to the freezers!). Optical dept is always EXTREMELY helpful. Ask any associate, and they are always willing to help. Customer service desk are always friendly and top notch. One complaint ..... St George Costco's prices are higher than other Costco's and it doesn't seem fair. It's similar to shopping in Hawaii, where you do pay a little more due to transportation costs...... But come on, I'm in utah and the distribution between Vegas, St George and the Provo area can't be that different. But sure enough, I can always find at least 20 items that are 1.00 higher than Vegas or Spanish fork. That said, I am grateful that we have the option for shopping at Costco in southern Utah. read more

Costco continues to put their customers first. Covid 19 has made life miserable for many merchants and their employees. Costco has pivoted and not only made respectable hours for seniors and first responders but opened those hours to 5 days a week. Where products were in short supply (or none) Costco limited the quantity members could purchase (per membership card). They were quick to social distance (limiting number of members in warehouse to avoid lines and bunching), they sanitized carts and members, making those without. The warehouses inspite of the voluminous size has always been clean, products nearly arranged, produce, fruits, bakery items attractive. Noneadible items books, clothes, housewares, technology items are stacked neat, no fingermarks on glassed items. The pharmacy is inviting, the staff friendly and helpful. In fact there isn't an employee I have ever asked that didn't go of their way to help ANY customer. This niceness is infectious. The restrooms, the cafe are clean as a whistle. Kudos to management. Love it so much I give gift memberships. Note to corporate for members that don't adhere to rules and regulations. Strip them of their membership. For the good of the rest of us and your employees. For the past month this Costco has no toilet paper, no paper towels, no tuna fish, no hand sanitizer and no rice. No plans on restocking any of these items either. My brother in Los Angeles says his Costco has all these items. read more

Big city Costco, so prepare for the crowds depending on the day of week and time you arrive. I opted for Saturday morning and arrived a few minutes before 9:30 (advertised opening time) and they had their doors open (very few people). By the time I finished shopping, it was starting to get busy. But even with the masses of people, I've always had a quick check-out at this store. Problem is, I tend to spend twice as much money as I had originally planned. The store is clean and the staff I interacted with were very friendly. As with any Costco or Sam's Club, they pretty much carry everything and it's nice buying in bulk. The parking lot was well maintained with ample parking all around the store. read more

Don't use this tire center. They must have problems paying management or something because 3 times now I've come here to get my tires rotated and they always let me leave with the tires wobbling. It's super obvious, I hear it as soon as I get out of the parking lot. I stood in line for 12 minutes before an associate even turned up and then I had to convince him to squeeze me in before they close to fix the problem.. it was there fault! What the heck. Worst service ever. We cancelled my wife's appointment for new tires here because while we are in St George we will not be using this tire center anymore. I live in Las Vegas, but today, I found it necessary to pickup ridiculous amounts of LIGHT Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Not just your regular EVOO. I live in Las Vegas, but I drove OVER 150 miles just for this olive oil. My local Costco does not carry this. I-15 on the way to St. George was amazing. Nothing like a clear drive up. But things hit overdrive once I got into this Costco (five minutes before closing). I quickly picked up my oil, slicked my way to the checkout, and there it was. Like a big bright shining star (Boogie Nights anyone?)!! SELF CHECKOUT AT COSTCO!! It's like my life had changed for the better. Suddenly, air seemed sweeter, water had flavor and more importantly, things were starting to turn my way. Five stars all the way. Need more proof that this is the best Costco ever? Costco is the best what more can I say..... Friendly people, except the occasional cussing cart boy or controlling printer sales associate who won't let you look at or choose your own printer . We love how helpful the staff is at Costco. The general friendliness. The fruit and veggies are priced great but mostly rotten consistently. I love the meat! Love the dairy selection! I really love how they usually have the lowest gas prices around! I like to shop here on Sunday mornings because they aren't busy. It's nice to be able to stock up on snacks for the kids for a better price than other stores. I wish they would bring back the self check out. This isn't for Costco's warehouse but for the tire department. We love coming to Costco especially since we aren't local. We came last weekend to order tires for our SUV. They didn't have the ones we needed in stock so we ordered and paid for them in advance. No biggie it was too good of a deal to pass up. I was called today and told they were in. My husband and I drove 40 minutes to be treated like crap. We weren't greeted when we walked in, the guy who "helped" us (Michael) made us feel like we were an inconvenience to him to do his job. He couldn't find the tires or my name in the system and was kind of rude about it (like that was my fault). After I asked my husband to get the paperwork out of the car the guy in the shop decided to go out to get numbers off the tires. He came back, didn't say one word, printedoff some papers, put it one on the counter, barely said "sign here" to me. It was like we were such an inconvenience to him. I wish the gentlemen that helped us when we ordered the tires were there. One guy on Saturday was David and he was really nice. But this guy today (09/18/18) definitely needs to work on his customer service skills. We were also told it would be about an hour, which was fine we walked around Costco. We ended up waiting an hour and a half. Again, not a huge deal but we still had to drive back to Cedar after a long day of work. As we were standing outside next to the bay it was in, it sat on the hoist for who knows how long. Tires were on the car but it was just sitting there. It took me looking around the shop, walking to the front desk, then coming back outside to get their attention I guess. They lowered it and backed it out. Same guy from the beginning looks at us and says "is this you guys?" Lol, it was just a really weird experience. If we had the guys we had 09/16/18 this would have been a much different review. I want to give a shout out to the girls in the Optometry Department. I bought prescription sunglasses a few weeks ago and had some problems. They went above and beyond to remedy the problem. Come to find out my prescription had been written wrong at Lens crafters. I had a recheck done at Costco and the new lens took care of the problem. Don't waste your time anywhere else in St George with your eyes . read more

Dont get the pizza in the back of the store. for some reason it is not the same pizza you get in the deli. the deli is good. every one raves about the chicken because you get so much for a very little cost but the rotisserie chicken is dry. they no longer have chocolate yogurt or polish dogs. i used to go there all the time but now i only get there one or twice a year for paper products or washing products. i do like the cream cheese pumpkin rolls but you can only get those a couple weeks a year. read more

This place would get three stars if it wasn't so freaking packed with people who have no concept of anyone other than themselves. The line for gas is typically 10 cars deep in each line you could rename this place chaos and mayhem and you get the general idea. I love Costco for the fresh produce, massive boxes of ham-n-cheese hot pockets, and their muffins. Also, for $15 you can get a jumbo XXL supreme pizza which at most pizza places would cost nearly $30. It is a smokin deal. A few things I hate about Costco are the people that check your membership at the door, the fact that they have people who pretend to check your receipt as you leave the store, and the women who shop there that turn into F1/Rally/Demolition Derby drivers as soon as they step foot through the door. Seriously, watch your back in there. If it weren't for the overall good service, fair prices, and fine products, I wouldn't shop there. read more

Passing through the area and decided to go to this Costco for dinner. Loved that it's not crowded at all - inside and outside! There was ample parking and there was no line at all for gas; a rarity in southern California. Got food in a jiffy! A plus was for my boys to see workers make the Costco-size pizza from dough to oven. Didn't know that the flattening of the dough and the spreading of pizza sauce was all automated; the cheese was weighed in order to ensure the same amount of cheese. Clean. read more
