The salon is bright, clean, warm, and relaxing, and the staff is cream of the crop! They always greet me as if they came to work that day just because they knew I would be coming in! But it's not just me that gets such superior customer service...time and time again I watch them treat every single client with the same care. The client experience at Aella is consistently awesome! Kotie has been doing my hair for many years, taking me on as a client when Retta (the owner) stepped away from client services to focus on the business. Kotie is a brilliant and talented colorist and stylist! She is in such high demand that I secure my appointments six months or more in advance because short-call appointments or walk-ins with her aren't going to happen. She is booked all the time and there is no way I want to run the risk of not being able to get in with her! On the rare occasion where I have had to reschedule an appointment on short notice, Kotie has gone out of her way to accommodate me by offering to come in early, stay super late, or come in on her day off. I hope I never have to actually take her up on that offer, but I know if I do, she will accommodate me cheerfully and without hesitation. That's just the way she does business. Over the years since opening, Retta has exhibited her commitment to staying relevant by using advanced technology to create an amazing and convenient customer experience! With online scheduling I can secure my appointments on the go, and the super efficient 48-hour email and text message reminders ensure that I never forget an appointment! In all of the years I have been patronizing Aella, I can't recall a single time when I arrived and Kotie (or one of her assistants) was not ready to see me almost right away! I don't think I have ever waited more than five minutes for my appointment. Kotie does a really great job staying on schedule. She knows my time is valuable and she respects every minute I spend in her chair! In return I make sure that I am on time for my appointments, and any reschedules are done in advance.
