It is kind of hidden and you could miss it if you are not paying attention but I found Cafe Cafico and it not disappoint! The owner Fico short for Federico is also the barista and roast the different beans from the state of Chiapas. He also made me an espresso with milk that was absolutely wonderful! Prices are reasonable and he only takes cash. I bought the house blend and I'm anxious to try it tomorrow for breakfast. Best place in town to have a great cup of coffee. Don't expect to find a fancy coffee shop, this is a coffee roaster and you can order an espresso, a cafe arabe or a cortado. There is one smal table with four chairs. You finish your coffee and go.

We were so excited to walk in after seeing their sign advertising that they offer some harder to find Yucatecan/Mayan liquors! We tried Pox (a corn-based Yucatecan liquor), Xtabentun (a Yucatecan anise and honey liquor), and Yatzil (a Yucatecan chile habanero liquor)! They offer that and many more options (including many flavors of Pox) by the shot. After trying a few, we bought a few bottles of our favorites (they offer different size bottles)! They also sell arts, crafts, clothes, and more. Definitely a good place to look for some souvenirs. The service was great, too. We had a wonderful time trying some liquors for the first time!
