As a parent who has spent over three years navigating the admissions process, like so many families driven by the hope of better opportunities for our children, I am deeply disappointed by this experience. After receiving my child's acceptance letter, we were elated and promptly completed all the necessary paperwork. However, despite having the current school's contact information and fax number on file, the school inexplicably placed my child on a waitlist, citing the need for a recent report card.
When I reached out to inquire, I was met with an alarming lack of empathy. The representative I spoke with dismissively referred to an email they claimed to have sent on March 6th, only to later suggest I check my spam folder. It's unreasonable to expect families to monitor their spam inbox for critical communication regarding their child's future. When I sought a resolution, there was no effort to correct the situation--just a directive to continue with the process.
As a business owner myself, I find this level of customer service utterly unacceptable. It reflects poorly on the organization's values, which, as stated, should prioritize the wellbeing and success of the children they serve.
