They pride themselves on their anonymity (no Facebook, Insta or TripA) and request you call them to book. We stayed at the hostel next door but will absolutely stay here next summer. They sell out rapidly as room rates Are only $200 eu. I don't work for them. But work in the hotel industry and feel a little Kindred spirit with this lovely spot. Nerja is for those that want a more authentic Spain/ Mediterranean experience. Not a heavy tourist spot. If you need fish and chips or burgers for dinner: Go elsewhere!

Rooms are OK. Our two bedroom apt. had four singles, instead of at least a queen or king. Very…read moremuch a kid resort. Lots of small children. The place is small, so there isn't much to do. Beach is rocky, so its not that enjoyable to walk or play in the beach. The hotel is far enough from Nerja that you'll want to drive, but there isn't parking. So cabs or bus. The hotel restaurant has only a pretty medicre buffet. Huge variety, but low quality. Juice tastes like from a can. Coffee all comes from a machine. There's no real espresso machine anywhere at the resort. Room was clean, no bugs. But the fridge didn't stay cold, so we lost the food we bought. After that, just used it to keep waters cool. Staff are not very hospitable, especially considering the resort is off the beaten path. Folks working at thebgas stations were more friendly. If we go back to Costa del Sol, we'll definitely stay somewhere else.

We were absolutely blown away at what a great room and view we got for a reasonable price. It was off season but it was a holiday weekend - the big Nerja Carnival celebration. What we got was a great surprise! Our room was a sea facing junior suite. It was very large and had an awesome balcony view of the crashing sea and the Balcon de Europa. The room was well appointed and included a complimentary bottle of cava. It also came with breakfast. The mini frig and safe were a plus. Given the very loud nearby Carnival festivities we were extremely happy to be facing the sea - the surf was great white noise. Anyone with a room facing east must not have gotten much sleep this weekend. The only downside was the room was rather warm despite the cool weather even with the heat off and the balcony door open. The AC is turned off in winter (for us Americans who love AC anything over 72 F is too warm!). The breakfast buffet was very good with many options including freshly made crepes and omelets. All of the staff we encountered was very helpful especially at the front desk. They helped explain how to get the discounted parking rate at the nearby Plaza de Europa parking garage. They also acted as tech support for at least four us guests that were having trouble getting on their wifi (not sure if this is a one time issue if not they need to sort that out.) Overall an excellent experience and stay.

There are a number of apartments that overlook the Balcon which we are going to look into. It is only a tiny bit touristified around here but not as bad as some places in Spain...ahem Marbella anyone?!? A definite go see if you ask me :)
