If you're not sure what you're after, they recommend you a cut based on your requirements. The meat is always good quality, if you ask them to vacuum pack it it'll last for 5 days and it's better value than supermarkets. As well as standard meats, they do a range of marinaded stuff, some ready meals and side dishes you just need to put in the oven. The best thing about the place is the fridge they mature their steaks in - an absolutely fantastic sight for a carnivore. I'd recommend a t-bone or a cote de boeuf.

I came in a few weeks ago looking for chicken thighs and he directed me to another butcher across the street. One of his chickens fed a group of 6 last spring. And the single chicken breast he sold me today was very nice and tender. Oddly enough, I've never tried his non-chicken meats, but that's just chance. All in all, I have no complaints.

Over the summer I was a religious weekly visitor, snapping up their chicken fillet deal of 10 for €9.99 (while steering well clear of that case of tripe, livers and hearts). They also have a huge selection of jams, pasta, sauces, pies. I could go on, but I won't. Fine meats and deli foods. We went for the 3 for 2 pink label deal. One pork shoulder and two chickens. We also got one of their yummy crusty white cob loafs, streaky bacon and soy sauce. The meat is pricey, but it's select breeds and free range etc etc. All that good stuff. The kind gentleman who served us generously threw in a cooler bag to put the meat in to keep cool. Mighty nice, but then again we did just spend 40 odd EUR on the above. Pricey, but really nice quality meats and food. Oh and we just had the pork shoulder - delicious.
