It took 3 visits, 2 test drives, each 2 weeks apart and no annoying phone calls at inconvenient times (thank you Marc) Marc was very helpful giving us just the right amount of info without overwhelming. He clearly took advantage of an elderly woman, which is just disgusting and bad business. I can buy a lego set for $500. If the owner is a total crook, this behaviour gets cascaded down into his team members. Avoid this Nissan dealership at all costs unless the ownership changes and Daniel is gone.

The Seaway GMC Dealership in Cornwall is the worst dealership that I have ever dealt with - a…read moremisogynist dealership! I brought my Malibu there to get a part replaced that my regular mechanic could not fix. I was never told that if a part is ordered, that it cannot be returned nor refunded. Of course, it was the wrong part and I had to pay for a $420 part for no reason at all. Besides the fact that I had to pay for a part that was unnecessary, when I expressed my frustration to the Service Rep, I was not listened to at all. That same evening, my husband, not myself, got a phone call from the general manager explaining what is going on. My question here is why the general manager will not take the time to call me directly? We are both on the file, and I have been calling and dealing with the Service Rep that same evening, they surely have a call display or a call dial back, if they had misplaced my phone number. Why did he call my husband and not me! This is unacceptable behaviour. On top of that, when I went pick up the car, they had misplaced my key and it took them 15 minutes before locating them.

I was told only a few issues existed, but another mechanic I trust later found more problems. Unfortunately, he was busy and couldn't fit me in before my trip permit expired. After my car failed the safety inspection, he worked extra hours to fix the issues, finding other major problems along the way. After those fixes, I returned to the original place, and they broke my emergency brake, which had just been repaired--they pressed the pedal so hard it got bent. My mechanic fixed it again. When my BF brought the vehicle for the safety, he also brought the bent pedal to the garage and asked what happened. The staff threatened to remove my vehicle from the service bay if he was "petty." They said it failed again because the clamp was not fixed. We fixed the rear clamp as instructed, but it turned out they meant the front one. When asked to fix it so the car could pass, they refused. The neighboring shop fixed it within eight minutes, yet when I returned, the original place said they didn't have time to complete the safety inspection anymore. After five visits, I finally got my safety done. Based on Google reviews, this is not unusual for them. I can provide the names of three mechanics who will testify that I am not the only customer with these experiences.
