I am out of State 90%of the time and rely on mobile banking in order to deposit checks. I downloaded the app because I need to deposit two important checks and the app gives me an error saying access denied, and that I do not have permission to use the mobile check deposit. I didn't realize that a 50 year old, primary account holder needed "permission " to deposit money into HER bank account using what is a standard service in all bank apps. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever encountered. Not to mention it is really interfering with my finances. I am also informed that it will be up to 72 hours before someone contacts me. 3 days of not being able to access these funds. Unacceptable. My fiance uses a small local banking branch and they have a mobile deposit app that works so smoothly and he has never had these types of issues. I am ashamed that my Credit Union looks like a bunch of amateurs who cant find developers who can make a functioning app. read more

My only problem was there policy on fraudulent events. They are like almost all banks. They always blame the customer and restrict use of account even if the event was not ur fault. read more

They like all lending institutions do not take situations that are out of your control into account. If your rating is absolutely stellar, then you're okay. The tellers are very friendly and if you need to speak to the main office they're very friendly too however their phone menu is something else. Always want a co-signer if life catches You by surprise read more

So I got a solar loan with them. I switched primary banks, called to make sure everything was good got the new routing number and account number was good for months till 2 months ago. The account just disappeared from my bill pay screen and I can't add any new accounts. I've called to try and get this resolved 3 times. I get called in the middle of work when I've already told them I work in a secured facility... I can't believe I'm saying this, but Im really trying to get them to take my money... Been members for 30+ years. Use to love them. 3 years ago they into'd a new system & service went in the toilet. My fav? I cannot get my own statements. Yep. Here we are in 2020 and I have to borrow my husband's id. Their direction. "Just use your husband's id." Today, I was told they would need to charge me to email me my statements. I'm now waiting for info on how to contact their CEO & Board of Directors. My money and I'm not provided access to my statements. read more

My paycheck was received and deposited , at midnight , but since their system is down , 10 hours later , I still can't get my money , and they can't tell me when I can get my money . Apparently they don't have to pay bills like we do . read more

They do not put their customers needs first. They disbursed funds for a project that was only half way done and now we are having to pay for panels that do nothing. As a customer I wish they would have reached out to confirm installation was completed before cutting a check to Moxie. When calling in to explain my concern and frustration I was told they would call back within 48hrs to come up with a solution. No call back, my husband called a week later and they said there is nothing they can do for us since they already paid Moxie. As a customer I feel they don't care to work with me and/or Moxie to make it right. read more

I've been a long time member of this credit union; since 1971 in fact. Over the past 5 years, the character and outstanding service that was once provided has been replaced with nickel and dime fees, non-competitive interest rates and extremely substandard levels of customer service. After 46 years of being a stellar member of this institution I finally pulled the plug on my membership with this institution and initiated happily business with a financial institution that values my business... I could not and would not recommend Corning Credit Union to anyone moving forward. They have lost the formula that once made them a great Credit Union.. no longer so... no customer service and complete indifference are the rule of the day. Stay away from this one.. they aren't what they used to be in any way. read more

Been a member for 35 years. Always have got excellent service. Refinancing insurance help advice in general always spot on. They are offering dividends for services a bank wants to charge for. The previous review sounds like a problem with an individual. They offer many locations and more than one person. read more

It is a shame that this institution continues to decline in their ability to serve customers, old and new. There needs to be extensive training done in several departments. Friendliness only goes so far. You need to be able to answer customer questions or find someone who does. Even simple yes or no answers would be a step up. This is an institution that I am suppose to trust with my finances! A small town bank that use to stand up against the big banks, now they are just as bad and their rates aren't competitive. If you aren't already involved with them stay clear. I would not and do not trust them with any financials let alone private information. read more

I ordered a gazebo online for $1785, was charged for the product which was supposed to be shipped within 7 days. I never received the product and filed a dispute. The dispute process takes 90 days I have been told. Today is day 57. I just noticed that there is another pending transaction on my account from the same company for $1785. I called up and spoke to a representative who advised that there is nothing they can do until the charge actually posts. This is horrific customer service because they wouldn't even take my name and follow up on the issue once it posts. I am responsible to call back and file another dispute. In the meantime, I am out $3570. This is a tremendous burden to have to pay upfront and then get credited on the backend 90 days later. The first charge was definitely something I ordered and needs to be disputed. The second charge is completely fraudulent, but no action will be taken on CCU's part until the charge is officially posted. Horrible! Other credit card companies have been much more accommodating in these situations............. p.s. I had to call back to cancel my credit card since it has been used fraudulently. Very surprised the 1st rep didn't advise me to do that. Ironically, the second representative I dealt with was lovely therefore upgraded from 1 to 2 star rating. read more
