Church Square is a nice community with great neighbors. The homes look nice and are on the expensive side but as we live here longer, we find more problems than a $410,000 house should not have.
Underside of the kitchen island wasn't finished and took nearly two months to finish. The kitchen faucet was leaking, so my wife had to replace it, after waiting for Cornerstone for two weeks. The manifold holding the bathtub faucets in place was never attached to anything; the fix was to caulk it. When I complained, they had a plumber set an appointment but they never showed up.
The warranty service for punch list items is terrible; they don't show up on time, if they do at all. When they do show up, they seem more concerned with the cost of getting things fixed than to satisfy their customers by doing things right.
We have a sliding glass door that looks like it fell apart and was put back together, with a lot of caulking, that looks terrible. It obviously needs to be replaced - as told to me by two people Cornerstone sent to check it out shortly after I moved in.
Today, they said they're not replacing it; as far as they're concerned, it's good enough.
Although I like my neighbors, I would never recommend anyone buying a home from Cornerstone in my neighborhood. The crew here doesn't seem to have any pride in their work and, in my experience, doesn't care about customer satisfaction. read more
