MPC is a wonderful intergenerational church that is inclusive of diversity and disability, and I've seen them be great with kids who have special needs. The children's ministry is excellent and there are many ways to meet others and get plugged into helping the local community of Moorpark. Everybody is welcome and belongs. As a parent, I love that Sunday school kids stay in the service for the first bit so they get to sing with us, see any special events, and har a little bit of announcements before they go off to Sunday school. I really enjoy worshiping together as a family. If you want to learn to love God and to love others (and teach your children to), MPC is a great place to be. The Trunk or Treat is an absolute blast! Note: This place is baby-friendly. Children are welcome in the sanctuary, but if you need to step out, they have very nice infant care rooms with windows so you can nurse or watch service with a wailing kiddo if you aren't ready to use the child care nursery.

The youth minister and his wife spoke with us in length and truly made us feel welcome. We do not need an ASL interpreter but loved seeing her throughout the service. The music ministry is AMAZING. Everyone here welcomed us and we feel right at home. We look forward to building connections and becoming a part of the church family. Beautiful church campus, easy parking, and wide range in age of members. Loved the childrens church teachers hospitality

There are many churches to choose from, some big and some small, this is a very large church that…read morecould (and should) serve as a model. Over the years, I've been to many churches across California, and this is one of my favorites (if not THE favorite). Let me count the ways: ================== * They are very welcoming. You can feel the love. * Responsible and applicable teaching. * Family: perfect for your little ones. If not seated with you in the main sanctuary, they have many classes and small groups for children. * Local and international focus. * The main sanctuary is totally pro. Huge and wide stage, and the utmost professional sound and lighting. * The seats are comfortable. * I've been maybe 10-12 times. I've seen the lead pastor about 4 times. The others, a senior or associate pastor, each different. Rare. They share the light, and this is good so that a church is not so dependent. Normally, if the main pastor leaves, the church attendance goes way down. I don't see that happening here. * Each service is different and special with performance or a unique speaker. * Tons of groups, tons of activities: a benefit for attending a large church. * Parking can be crazy busy, but it's well organized with helpful volunteers to have you navigate. Bottom-line, if you are looking for a church that you get great teaching along with a show (music and performance), a church you can join a group and get involved, I encourage you to check this wonderful church out.
